the darkening sky
held a thousand clouds
dark prisoners
forced them to hold their wrath
destined for the sea
winds prevailed across the gigantic landscape
foaming ocean waves to obedience
just behind this massive blending
ahead of future strife
the stormfront swirled around
its realm
king of power
from shore to shore
and all around the waves
were deep
dark swirling things
wave after wave
the next
the next
until all the conflagration
wore thin
what colors were left
after the storm
was for some future
eye to see
