Celine's latest release is her Greatest Hits album My Love: Essential Collection. The album debuted at #8 on the Billboard chart and spawned the single "My Love" which was a top 15 hit on the AC chart.
The next single from the album is There Comes a Time (Soldier) but no other information is available at this time.

Wow it's been a long time since I've updated!!! I really apologize for my laziness!!!
It has been confirmed that Celine will be performing the Live 8 Concert via satellite from Las Vegas for the Toronto edition of the show. Performing live at the show will be Bryan Adams, Barenaked Ladies, Our Lady Peace, Gordon Lightfoot, and many others!
Celine was up for a MuchMoreMusic Video Award for You And I, but lost to Party For Two by Shania Twain.
Miracle has been certified platinum!!! It's currently the #199 album of 2005 according to Billboard.
Celine has now had 47 platinum certificates in the US alone!

Last week, One Heart debuted at #2 behind Linkin Park's Meteora. This week, the album slips to #4. So far, the 2 weeks total according to Hits Daily Double is: 615,674 copies! That's enough to certify the album gold one it becomes eligible!

Celine Dion has postponed the unveiling of her Hollywood Walk of Fame star - which was due to take place Friday - because of the war on Iraq.
The "My Heart Will Go On" star has joined a long list of celebrities to cancel or delay such events because of the war being waged in the Middle East.
She released a statement - shortly before troops started their strike against Iraq, saying, "I do not feel it is appropriate at this time to celebrate this milestone in my career when we are on the brink of war."
"My thoughts and prayers are with the men, women and children who are involved in this at home and overseas."

Well, I did see Celine on June 7th at Y100's Summer Splash, and she sounded as wonderful as ever!!! She performed 5 songs including That's The Way it Is, A New Day Has Come, I'm Alive, Ten Days, and closed with My Heart Will Go On. It was great seeing her live again!!!

Celine is the artist for Today's "Summer Concert Series" this Friday. "Today" is on from 7-10am on NBC.
Celine will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on May 21st. Leno is on 11:35-12:35pm on NBC.
Celine will perform on "Divas Las Vegas" on VH1 May 23rd at 8pm. Also scheduled to perform are Shakira, Cher, Mary J Blige, The Dixie Chicks, Anastasia, Stevie Nicks and many more.
A New Day Has Come peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles. This is because the song was not released as a CD Single (it should have been). The next single from ANDHC is "I'm Alive" and will be featured in the upcoming movie "Stuart Little 2."
Finally, Celine is on the Radio Summer Concerts tour. She will be appearing in cities such as NY, LA, and my hometown MIAMI. She is coming here June 7th at the National Car Rental Center for Y100's "Kenny and Footy's Summer Splash." Also scheduled to perform include Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, Craig David, The Calling, Paulina Rubio, Fabolous, and O-Town. She'll also perform at Z100 show in New York, and at KIIS' Wango Tango in Las Angelas.

I really should update more, expecially now since Celine's new album "A New Day Has Come" had DEBUTED AT #1 ON THE BILLBOARD ALBUMS CHART!!! The album scanned over 553,000 copies in first week sales! This mean the albums is already gold! This is Celine's first debut at #1 in her career, and it is also her best first weeks sales in the US beating out Let's Talk About Love's 334,000 copies in its first week.

Céline is currently in Florida recording the last few songs for her next album, and shooting the video of the first single. Hitting U.S. newsstands today, the January 26 edition of Billboard magazine gives us lots of information about Céline's new album, thanks to Céline's first interview in two years. The interview by Chuck Taylor is rich in various information about Céline and what she has done in the last 2 years, as well as her impressions on the songs she recorded.
Among the other information provided by the magazine, the release date for the album has been pushed to March 25/26. The first single should hit the radio airwaves first week of February. It's no longer certain which song it will be, the title song, A New Day Has Come, is still a contender but it might not still be the favorite.
Billboard confirms the 5 songs I gave you two weeks ago and adds 2 more... here are their comments on these songs:
A New Day Has Come: The sparkling title track is among the most delicate, understated songs Dion has recorded. Against a finespun sweep of strings and piano, she sings of a great presence coming into her life, turning weakness to strength.
I'm Alive: From the team that wrote That's the Way It Is, this is one of the lighter, brighter moments on the set, with a beat that beckons with tribal urgency.
Nature Boy: Just a piano and Dion mark this mature composition first made famous by Nat "King" Cole.
Surrender: The album's bombastic, heart-pounding, signature Celine Dion ballad, produced by David Foster. She sings of forbidden love amid a firestorm of utterly volcanic instrumentation.
Goodbye's the Hardest Word: A devastatingly emotional ballad about the death of one's mother. Dion first heard the Robert John "Mutt" Lange song three years ago and turned it down, but she changed her mind now that she is a mother.

At Last: Glenn Miller originated the song in 1941; Etta James, among others, also recorded it. Simple, garnished with fiddle, and a vocal that sounds like it was captured from the church rafters.

In a candid interview with a Canadian station, Celine mentioned that her baby has a "frozen twin." This means, she has a frozen embryo in a New York clinic ready for her when she is ready to have her 2nd child. She also said she might record a new album a year after the baby is born. The baby is due Valentines Day, and still no name has been decided.
