We started the band during the the summer of '93; signed w/Flying Tart Records (now defunct) in the fall of '94; recorded an album in the spring of '95 (never released - we don't even have a copy, so don't ask...and don't worry, you're not missing anything); changed our name to "Huntingtons" on January 15, 1996 (Mikee, our original drummer, lived down the road from a housing development called "Huntingtons" and thought it sounded better than the band's name at the time...we agreed); recorded a bad garage rock album (Sweet Sixteen) that had a few surprisingly good melodies intermixed w/lots of bad ones during a weekend in February, '96; recorded another bad garage rock album (Rocket To Ramonia) full of Ramones covers during a weekend in April, '96; recorded an EP that fall that was to be called "Rock 'N' Roll Radio" that didn't see the light of day until the rerelease of Sweet Sixteen (All The Stuff And More-Vol 1) two years later; Recorded our third and final garage rock album (Fun And Games) along w/an EP (The Only One) in January '97 w/better than garage rock production courtesy of famed Queers/Riverdales producer, Mass Giorgini; went on our first tour in the fall of that year w/the amazing Blaster The Rocketman; recorded a two song seven inch for Velvet Blue Music (You're Not Right b/w Babysitter); signed w/Tooth And Nail Records in November '97; recorded our first non-garage rock album (High School Rock) in December '97...again w/Mass Giorgini; went on tour in the summer of '98 w/Craig's Brother, Speedy Delivery, Squad Five-O and The Halo Friendlies; recorded a live album (The Good, The Bad And The Ugly) upon returning home from tour in August; recorded another Ramones covers album (File Under Ramones) in the fall of '98 because we had done such a bad job w/the one we had done back in '96; recorded two albums in January '99 (Get Lost, Plastic Surgery).
Through the years band members have come and gone (Tommy, Bradley, A. J., Mikee), while some have stayed put (Mikey, Cliffy) and some have yet to leave (C. J., Davey...cross your fingers and maybe they'll stay). The band is touring America from June to October of '99 (w/The Calicoes, Shorthanded, the Young Hasselhoffs, One21, Element and The Darlingtons) before returning to their manic recording schedule.
Look for "Horror Highway", "Heartbreak Hotel" and a split full length w/The Darlingtons as well as a return to the road in 2000.
