P.O.D. comes to encourage stability. Their message can reach out and touch anyone, wake them up, and inspire them to change for the better. P.O.D. reaches people where they are at and gives them a message of hope.
P.O.D. has been on eleven U.S. tours. They are one of the most requested bands on G-Rock Music and Sports Television, which can be seen on the Faith and Values Channel. They are currently being aired on MTV International's 120 Minutes and Headbanger's Ball.
P.O.D. is currently being advertised in Thrasher Magazine, Request Music Magazine, HM, as well as numerous other Christian publications. The band was given an A+ on their album Brown by Revolt In Style Magazine (a West Coast underground magazine), in the music review section of the August '96 issue.
P.O.D. has a very hardcore appeal, and with their lyrics being Christ-centered, they take a bold stand to compete with the hardest bands in the industry. Their sound is very original and it definitely speaks for itself. They are on rotation at all pure rock reporting stations including college radio. Their single, "Selah," was #1 on the pure rock charts for 6 consecutive weeks.
P.O.D. has been blessed to have played with Greenday, Bad Brains, Pennywise, The Vandals, Unwritten Law, Lucy's Fur Coat, Blink 182, Face to Face, Buck O' Nine, House of Suffering, Brutal Truth, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Inch, and The Boredoms.
