Chapter Three
"What are you doing here" I said really getting annoyed at the fact I KEEP running into him "I mean this city is big enough for me to avoid him BUT NO not me my week only gets better,Yah right" I thought to myself. "This is my parents house, and your applying to be a nanny to my sister and brother." He said rudely well to me it was rudely. "Ok then I think I better leave then" I said turning to walk out the door. "Good" he said as he opened the door. "UGH I can't believe him" I thought. "No, I like you, mommy I like her" The little boy walked up to his mother and said. I smiled at the little one. "Hi, I'm amie, what's your name" I said extending my hand to the little boy. "I'm Tyler" he said shaking my hand ( YES I KNOW HE'S OLD ENOUGH TO DRIVE OR SOMETHNG) "well it's nice to meet you" I said smiling again . "Well I guess I must be on my way" I said turning to leave "Wait we would like to see your resume." The women said "Oh by the way I'm Karen, my husbands name is Roy, and my daughter's is Heather" Karen said taking my resume and reading it. "You worked as a nanny before?" Karen asked me "Actually, I worked at a daycare" I said hoping that was enough experience. "I love kids and can't wait till I've got my career stabled so I can finally start a family," I said. "well it seems Tyler has taken a liking to you, so if you want the job we'd like to have you aboard." Karen said. Just then a man of 50 walked in. "Hi," he said shaking my hand. "Hi, I'm Amie, I applied for the nanny job" I said trying to impress him, but I don't think it worked. A few minutes later the guy, I DON"T Like, stormed off. "What was his problem" the man said turning towards Karen. "Amie, this is my husband Roy" Karen said to me. "Hi, Mr. Chasez" I said "Oh call us by our first names" Karen said. "Ok Karen" I said and Tyler took my hand and said "Come and see my toys" I laughed and followed him. Karen called behind me "Amie will you be able to stay here" she asked. "If you would like, I do have a place I live for now" I said, "You can stay here, during the weeks or even weekends but if you want to keep your place you can stay there whenever, you will have days off so don't worry about working full 24hrs the whole summer" Karen said. "Thankyou" I said and Tyler started to drag me away. I saw the guy walk back into there and heard him say "Why did you hire her, she's very rude you know" "well she's not here to be your nanny" Karen said and I had to laugh, Tyler led me to his room to play cars. "well I'm tired and I must get home, but I'll be back in the morning and we can go swimming" I said. I turned to walk out and tyler ran up to me "Thankyou Amie" he said and gave me a hug. I hugged him back and turned to walk out. "Don't let JC make you leave" he called after. "Who is JC" I asked stopping "My big brother" he said. "Oh him, I won't leave,unless you want me to" ok I said reasurring him "Ok I won't want you to leave" he said I smiled and said "Well I better be on my way, till tomorrow" I turned and left I walked out the open door to see JC, Tyler's big brother. Walking away. "did he hear what Tyler said" I asked myself "I guess this is gonna be harder than I thought" I said to myself. "what's going to be hard" someone said behind me. "Oh I was just thinking about my auditions in a week" I said turning to see Roy, Tyler's father "what are you auditioning for" he asked politely "well one of them is for the band at my college, and the other one is for an acting job I've been rehearshing for, for a long time." I said. "Oh well goodluck, you can have off those days, if needed" he said to me. "Thankyou sir, I mumst be getting back, my friend's waiting, and I need to get some stuff, for the week" I said and turned to leave "See you tomorrow" he said after I walked to the front door. On my way to the door, I saw pictures along the wall, apparently of tyler, but they could have been of JC they looked a lot alike. Then I walked by a door, where I heard music, I heard someone singing, I knew the voice, but I couldn't put it where, and I couldn't put the song to a title, or group. I thought . Just then someone started opening the door, so I quickly walked away. "Amie," I heard a voice say I turned around to see CHRIS, My ex boyfriend, of like a month. "Chris" I said I wanted to run to him and tell him I was sorry, but I couldn't I was too afraid. Just then JC walked out. "You two know each other" he said. "I nodded, and Chris did too Silence fell until Chris spoke up. "We dated for awhile, up until yesterday" he said "oh well then has she always been a bitch" JC said. "Excuse me, Chris has he always been an asshole" I said and turned around to walk out. "Hey Amie wait up," chris said. "what, you dumped what do you want from me now" I said getting angry at both of them now, he apparently had no feelings for me, since he didn't stick up for me and dumped me basically cause I wasn't ready to give into him. "Are you going to Lisa's party, cause I'd like to see you there" he asked I calmed down and sighed and said "I don't know yet,depends if Kim is home" I said. "Oh ok well hope to see you there" he said a went back to JC's room I turned to leave and go home, I probably wouldn't go to the party. I got in my car and drove away.
