My Loving Aunt

Waves crash against the endless sand as she stares at the bleeding sunset before her.
Days like this have become rare to the average person and days like these have become the ones she cherishes most.
The water is so calming and peaceful as it calls to her each day at this time.
Life has made her heart so very joyous, but these days the turmoil she has endured leaves her weighted with sorrow.
God gives her the strength to get out of bed in the morning to breathe in another day.
She’s never been the type to be a working woman of the world, but loved her job at home.
She has lived the life of a thousand women all in one and has a heart of gold no one can compare to.
Never will she deny you a caring ear in times of despair or embrace you with the warmth of her hugs.
A heart so caring that it has mended the sick and thawed the cold emotions of others.
She has a smile that can brighten anyone’s day and her laugh is absolutely priceless.
Family means the world to her and she would fight the depths of hell to keep them safe.
The bleeding sky before her soon gives into the darkness of night as she turns towards home again.
Holding her husbands hand, as she has done for many years, she holds her head high and smiles.
For all the pain she has gone through God has blessed her with so much love and shows her his paintings as a reminder each evening.
