A truck drives by
A child’s face pressed to the window in sadness
Another move, another bad day at school, another lost puppy to be found?
I wonder…..

A car drives by
A woman’s angry words as she shouts at the man beside her
Another late night out, another hurtful words said, another emotion unfelt?
I wonder…..

A car drives by
A young man smiles with joy
Another job well done, another new found love, another day in the sun?
I wonder…..

A person walks by
A man smiles at me and offers words of wisdom
Another person who actually cares, another piece of proof that good will is not gone, or another angel in disguise?
