future, and intense sexual heat between the main characters that will leave
you breathless. Joey Masado is an extremely fantastic "can-not-forget"
Italian hero......fatherhood definitely becomes him. The final saga in
the Brotherhood series was set up quite nicely in this story too......look
for LAST MAN STANDING in June '03. Jackson Ward is a New Orleans cop that works and lives by his own rules. His
status in the police department as a loose cannon is well earned but
regardless of Jackson's boss's dislike of him he is still the man chosen to
go to Chicago to clear the police chief's daughter whom is implicated in a
mob related murder. A native of Chicago, Jackson uses his connections and
expertise to do the job he was sent to do. However, he had not expected
Sunni Blais to be beautiful and luscious. Sunni owns a lingerie store Silks
Inc and loves the feel of silk against her body which Jackson appreciates
from day one.....hence the book's title. This story unfolds quickly with
dynamite dialogue, intense sexual chemistry and an extremely emotional twist
that surely will touch the hearts of each reader. Also, the humorous scenes
involving Jackson's "partner" makes for a wonderful secondary character.
Don't miss this fantastic book....it more than met my every expectation!!! Other books by Wendy Rosnau...these three were set in Louisiana. All highly recommended!
