AJ looked out the window for some sort of recognition.
He didn't remember any Morgan. Except for the one who
seemed to hate his guts. And the one who he sang to in
the seventh grade that he brags about all the time.
Little did he know, they were the one and same
person. * * * * Morgan got all the girls out into
the living room so they could loosen up before going to
Brian's. A.C. was already out there and the danced
together for a moment until the other girls came out.
They all danced and then A.C. gasped. Morgan looked to
see what the problem was. She looked out the window to
find the guys staring at them through the kitchen
window. She screamed and pulled the drapes. * * * *
The guys laughed as Morgan dropped her mouth and shut
the curtains. AJ just seemed to stare into space while
the guys talked. "They were pretty good," Nick
admitted. "Yeah, they really can dance!" Kevin
exclaimed. "Who are those other girls?" They all
looked at Brian. "I dunno!" he excused himself. * * *
* The girls walked over reluctantly. They peered
through the peek-hole in the door and knocked. Brian
and Nick raced to the door. Brian pushed Nick and he
ended up at the feet of A.C. "Well, it's nice to meet
you too, but um, Toria here is really more your type."
she bowed. "But you can bow at my feet anytime you'd
like." They all laughed as Nick turned a color that
matched Morgan's dress. After that, things went
smoothly. Shai and Howie got along great. Kim and
Kevin went to talk about football, Morgan tried to talk
to AJ and ended up in the punch, so they went to the
drycleaners, Toria and Nick went to a teen club (16+,
and I do know that they have them), with Shai, Kev,
Howie and Kim. A.C. wasn't old enough, so Brian stayed
and hung out with her. He thought that she was pretty
cool for a 14 year-old. They watched Bean, and then
Brian went to get some Cokes, while A.C. used the
bathroom. He just sat down on the couch when she
called for him. "Brian?" He walked over to the bathroom.
"Yeah?" "I know this is really weird to ask you of all people, but do
you have any Kotex?" Brian was taken aback at this. "Do I?" "OK.
Good. Um, can you run over to Morgan's and grab me some? The keys are
in my coat pocket, and the bathroom's off the kitchen. Could you do
that please?" Brian was still confused. "Kotex?" "Oh God, maxi
pads." she explained. "Oh. Yeah, I'll be right back." * * * *
Morgan got back with AJ just as Brian got to her apartment. "Hey!"
she called out the window. "What are you doing?" "I'm getting. . . oh
I'll tell ya later!" * * * * Morgan was going to go to the bathroom
but the door was locked. "Hello?" she asked. "Is anyone in
there?" "Yeah, A.C." "Sorry. Why is Brian in my apartment?"
"Oh god. He can explain. I just want to go to bed." "OK" Brian
got back and passed the Kotex to A.C. She got out of the bathroom and
laid down in Brian's room. "What was that all about?" Morgan asked.
"Why would I be using Kotex?" Brian countered. "Oh. Poor A.C.
This is her first time. And she was with you." Morgan sympathized,
disgusted. "Maybe she oughtta stay here," AJ stated. "She's pretty out
of it." "Maybe." Morgan pondered. "If you guys don't mind." "Nah,
she's a great kid." Brian stated. "OOOHH! Brian's got a crush on the
'new' lady!" AJ teased. "No, I don't. I just feel sorry for her. I
heard that it feels like you've got pliers in your pants." Morgan
laughed. "Well, I gotta go. If she wakes up, give her some PJ's of
some sorts. Oh and Brian?" "Yeah?" he asked. "It doesn't feel like
pliers, it's worse." "Oh, ha ha ha." he said to her. She laughed as
she walked out the door. He turned to AJ. "Now I really feel sorry for
the kid." AJ laughed and shook his head as Brian gave A.C. pair of his
sweatpants and a T-shirt.
