Is your nursing
job dreadful?
If so,
you can change your
circumstances!

Do you love the nursing or medical profession job that you have now? If so, bravo! You are so fortunate!

But, if you are "just hanging on," reporting for duty at the hospital every day, going through the motions, you might want to consider why you are still doing it -- there, at least.

Why do you stay in this nursing director position, or that lab management slot, if you're unhappy there?

Our bodies and minds get used to certain kinds of stress and "our own personal levels" of pain and frustration. We learn how to tolerate it and often, our subconscious mind reasons that it can convince you that you should stay with a familiar agony rather than to risk a greater one looking for greener grass. So, we tend to stay stuck, holding tightly to a hot coal that we could actually release at any time!

If you love your Chief Nursing Officer or Pharmacy Director, or Radiology Manager job, wonderful! Stay put!

But, if reporting to your medical center job each day is drudgery, just know that the decision to move is scary for all healthcare professionals, not just you.

You need to realize, however, there are wonderful hospitals out there, with benevolent cultures, and great CEO's, CNO's, and Nursing Unit and Ancillary managers ... team-buildiers who enthuse rather than abuse!

Starting the search for a position in the medical industry that you would love is truly an option. There is no such thing as a deadend ... unless we create it ourselves!
