WORK HISTORY2000-2002:
Lead Instructional Systems SpecialistAnalyzed, designed, marketed and developed interactive, computer-based training, and computer-aided (instructor-led) training for the U.S. Marine Corps. This government contract project included, but was not limited to technical research, graphic editing, as well as, identifying and utilizing logical, andragogical models and instructional design methodologies in support of the instructional materials being developed. As the training materials were completed, reviews, and back-end analysis of the effectiveness of the instruction were completed. As Lead Instructional Systems Specialist, was fully responsible for training new associates in all phases/development of the instructional materials and conducted reviews of the training materials/system with the government.

Senior Laboratory Technician, State of Florida/University of Central FloridaEntirely responsible for the Hospitality Management Food Production Kitchen Teaching Laboratory and Dining Room. Duties included all ordering and inventory of all food and food related equipment and supplies. Assisted students in the assimilation of knowledge in all areas of sanitation, food preparation, design, use and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Created tests and lesson plans, which were utilized in the evaluation of student’s performance and maintained Alumni computer database.

Leasing Coordinator, National Property InvestorsResponsible for all phases of apartment leasing within a 304-unit apartment community located in Winter Park, FL. Duties included leasing/renewal, marketing, management skills, customer relations and training of new associates, as well as handling large sums of money on a daily basis.

President/Owner, Carl’s Castaway Cruises, Inc.Entirely responsible for the creation and operation of my own travel agency, specializing in the sale of cruise vacation packages. Procured the sale of travel from various individual as well as corporate clienteles. Created and implemented several unique marketing and sales campaigns.
