Lee Grant Johnson born August 16, 1872

~ Lee Grant Johnson ~

Lee Grant Johnson was born August 16, 1872 to Tob Johnson and Rosa Travice according to his 1955 death certificate (that information was supplied by his youngest child Parilee Johnson-Rhynes). Lee died on July 9, 1955 at the distinguished age of 82. At the time of his death Lee had 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

This photo was taken in 1923 on the front porch of the Johnson home in Chipley, Florida. According to the 1900 census Martha was born in October 1874 and married Lee in 1898.

On the back of this picture it says Willie was a Reverend. I am in the process of obtaining his 1917-18 Draft Registration card. Be sure to check back often to see the updated information on this family member.
