Our Special Angel

An angel is assigned to us, the moment we are born,

To live with us, until the day we die.

To guide us on our journey, as we travel day by day,

And to dry the many teardrops, that we cry.

They protect us from the danger, that lurks along the way,

As they nudge us to the left, or to the right.

Sometimes we sense their presence,

When we narrowly escape,

A mishap, and we're left, with quite a fright.

I believe our days, are numbered,

Like the hairs upon our head,

And when our number, finally comes around,

Our angel, brings us comfort, standing by our bed,

Assuring us, that we, are Heaven bound.
