  I know two things about the concerts..
  1) Do NOT throw coins on the stage. Rob got really REALLY pissed at
  somebody for doing so.(He called them big fucking assholes!)
  2) Do NOT bring laser pointers to the concerts! Rob said that he, and the
  rest of the boys are scared shitless of them!

 Hi, most of you wouldn't know me, but if your a CFA fan and/or are
 willing to help me with something especially if you're an Aussie, could
 you please email me at editorbean@hotmail.com ASAP. Yeah before Tuesday
 night this week 8th Sep ok. THanks a heap.
 The Bean.

  One reason why I love Rob so much and follow things is cause his songs had and still have a huge impact on my life. Just listening to their CD helps me to think and calm down and take things into prespective. I had a hard period in my life and all of the meaning in his songs got into me and helped pick me back up again. I just wish that someday I could actually tell them that they helped me get my life back together....not necissarily in person, just in writing so they at least know what they have done for me.

 ~Words straight from their mouths~

  When I saw my first Matchbox 20 concert I met Rob outside by the bus, and we hugged and I told him that I loved his band. His reply? "I love my band too."
  -AMHoney3@aol.com

  They closed the curtain and it seemed like the show was over but no one left....and Rob came out and goes......"Can't fucking fool any of ya!!" And before he played a solo, he said "Now don't go clapping cause your just gonna fuck me up"
  -Jamie4420@aol.com

  I was at the Aug. 8th show at Jones Beach, and Rob introduced Rest Stop by saying:
 "Its a song I wrote a long time ago. And the sad thing about this is that if you listen to the words, every word of it is true, every single word of it. You're gonna think I'm a pitiful little bastard. And I can't help that!"

  "this song is about whether i may or may not be an asshole " ~ rob thomas regarding " you&i&i "

 ~Matchbox 20 Past, Present & Future~

 It's abit surreal even announcing this, but here it goes. The next installment of the Long Day 'Zine will be the massive 'One-Year Anniversary' Issue. Yea, it's been a whole year. None of us can believe it. We want this issue to be the best issue ever put out by the LDZ. Of course we need your help, because without all of you there never could have been a 'zine. Thanx for being there through everything.
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 -Funny How it Comes to Pass-

 As the Feature for the Anniversary Issue we're going to take a look back at the matchbox 20 that was, that is, and that will be. Maybe it'll bring back memories or just a reflection of what mb20 have done.
 The first part of the Feature will be a 'History of matchbox 20'. Taking a look back at the start of the career and wrapping up to present day. It will include facts, qoutes, just everything. The second part will be 'Fans Look at Matchbox 20: Past, Present, and Future'. It will be seperated into these three sections. We really need your help with this. Your contributions is what can make the Feature brilliant.
 ==================
 Past: What it was like when you first heard mb20, got the album, your reaction, how it was when they made their first tv appearance, first time you saw a vid, how the fanbase was then, interactions with the band, everything. Anything you can think of.

 Present: How mb20 has evolved for you. What it's like seeing them become so successful. Or just what mb20 means to you now. We're leaving subjects very unstructured, so write what you'd like.

 Future: What do you see for matchbox 20 down the line? Especially with the new album, that'll hopefully happen soon. An outlook from where you stand.
 ==================
 What exactly do we mean? If you feel you have something to say about the past, present, or future of matchbox 20, and want to share that with other fans, please send it in. It depends on how many contributions we get on how many will go in the 'zine. If we get a massive amount we may have to pick the top five or so for each time period. But every single contribution we recieve will go on the webpage.
 We'll do our best with whatever we get.

 'Time After Time: A Fan's Outlook Through Everything'
 The Past, Present, and Future have been seperated in the part previous to this. There may be someone out there who has something they really want to say about all three. Go for it. We're going to pick just one for the 'zine. Written well, complete, creative, we can feel what you're getting across.
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Wow, well a lot has been said here. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask any of us.
 Please contribute, so this next issue will be the best ever. Thanx for everything everyone. It's been a amazing year.
