To me, whatever is, whichever religion is, his words are full of meanings, spiritual and inspirational growth that every human being is seeking for. Sincere words full of warmth, comfort leaves us at a specific soothing feeling. Reading some writtings by Dalai Lama, it made me ralized, he is an exceptional man and his believes are not based on blind faith or religious dogma, but understanding of human mind and behavior. Amazing.

Giving you little confusion, I am sure, you are tired of reading the rest. Yeah, I told you, it is just a personal web-page made out of curiosity, fun and to share with others. Well, it may not be interesting at all, but it's just about "me, myself and I":). I am just, another human being on this Planet, born 26 years ago:), on the small Island in northern Croatia, in the middle of the most beautiful Adriatic Sea.

Ok, figure it out:) On the left, is partial map of the Europe. Italy is a very much visible, and on the East side of the Italy, where is the part where Croatia is located. The most beautiful country, besides Bosnia, of course:). In between is Adriatic Sea, that divides them. On the right, is close up map, of where the Island is (red colored area).

Ok, I was just born (few months earlier:) on the Island of Croatia, and who cares?, but truly in my hearth and soul, I am Bosnian. I am SARAJKA!:) (meaning girl from SARAJEVO). The war in Bosnia, made us refugees in order to stay alive. Sometimes, it's very difficult to live away from our own roots, but I guess "it's the reality" and sometimes we have no choice. Sometimes, I wish I escaped even before because the war pictures, dreams, and tears are present at the time to time. They say, dreams are related to what we feel and think, but they can be real as being awake. Dreaming horrifying pictures of the war, bombing, destructions, brings nothing but bad memories, pain and tears. I can't imagine what others might dream of, and feel. Whatever is , we all feel, we are all pretty much the same and we're all friends!.... I am glad that with the time, patience and hope, everything comes in place, hopefully. Spending time by the Ocean, and on the Sun are such a peaceful and enjoyable moment/s. It's the God given! I am still wondering, as everyone else, "Why do people fight?." What is the point, really? It seems not one year will pass by without news about wars, kids killing kids at schools, coworker killing coworkers and many other ugly news. It makes me wonder, where is all this going to? I am not afraid, anymore, I am just stronger person, but at the same time very sad because of this mess around us. As I opened my eyes from a peaceful dream, I turned on CNN, on Sept. 11th, but this time it was not dream. It was an ugly reality. Something that we never dreamt of, but an ugly dream came true. I was not just shocked, I was terrified what people are capable of. Well, I know what they are capable of by going through the Bosnian War ugliness, but to happen here, now and in this Century?!! Is there an end? I have seen many ugly, real pictures, I have seen buildings going down, burning to the ground, people jumping out of windows on top floors of their apartments, sniper shots killing people running across the streets, hunger, cold, and blood. Too much blood, too many tears and fears. Just because of some crazy, uneducated, sick people who can't care less about our World. No matter, if someone is from the Middle East, Asia, Europe or the USA, I believe there are crazy minded people everywhere, and that is the scary part. Never knowing and not knowing what the day may bring. All I know, people should build peace within themselves, and within their society, get together, and build friendship, values, peace, love and hope.

CHANGE MUST COME FROM WITHIN THE INDIVIDUAL. BUT WHEN YOU ARE SEEKING SOLUTION TO GLOBAL PROBLEM, YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO APPROACH THESE PROBLEMS FROM THE STANDPOINT OF THE INDIVIDUAL AS WELL AS FROM THE LEVEL OF SOCIETY AT LARGE." (The Art Of Happiness, 189)

"PEACE MUST DEVELOP ON MUTUAL TRUST. AND SINCE WEAPONS ARE THE GREATEST OBSTACLE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MUTUAL TRUST, I THINK THE TIME HAS NOW COME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET RID OF THESE WEAPONS. THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT. OF COURSE, WE CANNOT ACHIEVE THIS OVERNIGHT. I THINK THE REALISTIC WAY IS STEP BY STEP. What else? I am a (part-time) student, at Florida Atlantic University (FAU.edu). Currently and almost at the end of studying Health Administration in Business. Also, I am full-time employed by Tenet Health (second largest Health Care Org. in the USA). I work at the Regional Business Office or the National Medicare Cenet in Boca Raton, where I am learning something new each day and building my own experience/s. Prior to my current job, I was employed by Boca Raton Community Hospital for three wonderful years. I enjoy work in the Healthcare field. I have changed many positions, moved toward new and higher positions and various experiences. Before the Business office position I had a wonderful experience and privilage to work in the Emergency Room and on the each possible Unit by providing the patient care.

It is a wonderful feeling to give your love, your care, concern, and a smile, which really leaves an impact on others. To get a smile, respect and love in return, is what makes the differences.

On the end, I enjoy reading, writing short stories, rollerblading or in-line skating on the beach, movies, photography, dancing, traveling and being with my loved ones. I have traveled to some various countries or places such as: France, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Germany, Bahamas and most of the East Cost of the USA:)...Of course, I would love to see more. In additon, I just want to mention that my heart belongs to the city, SARAJEVO, I love very much so. It's the city where my soul and inner peace belonged and grew. Where the heart is!! While I am here, this is "my new home", where I am building my own future and will what the God will bring and show in years ahead. The future, I hope, it will bring the best in me and all of us. In a month (December 2004), I will be an American Citizen and with my oath to this Country I believe that it will bring a good, success and luck. I must say "I am not Americanized", but I am who I am:). I will always keep my culture, religion, name and passion to succeed, love and build the better future. It is important to know that material things don't makes us happy, it just makes the life in some way less difficult.
