My picture of my Spitfire		 I travelled to the New Orleans British Car Day 2003 with my nephew. There were 173 cars attending according to one of the BMCNO members. My car received 3rd place out of six cars in the Spitfire/GT6 class. Seven other members of my club attended and their pictures can be found on my club's website Here.[March 2003]

Spitfires at PBCA 2003		 My club's show was again on Pensacola Beach, Florida. The weather was perfect and even though the show was a week later, tempuratures were only around 80ºF. Even though the overall show increased to 123 cars, the Spitfire/GT6 class was reduced by one over last year. I really want to get more Spitfire and GT6 involvement at our show. PLEASE consider and try to attend our show in April 2004 with your car. You will not be disappointed at our show. Mike's Spitfire Haji Temple showNine members of my club attended the Haji Temple Car Show 2003 at the Haji Shrine in Pensacola to benefit the Shriner's Hospitals. This is my car next to a 1980 Triumph TR8. [May 2003]
1974 Spitfire I bought this 1974 Spitfire after a club member called me to say that he saw it for sale in a neighborhood he was driving through. More details and picture on it's condition and my plans for it are located here. [June 2003]
British billboard This is a picture of my Spitfire 1500 with a Spitfire Mk4 next to a billboard sign located near NAS Pensacola. A club member saw the sign and took a picture of his car here and told me about it. Quite appropiate for British cars! This picture appears in the Fall 2003 issue of "Triumph Spitfire & GT6" magazine. (Large picture size is 928x609, 91k)[July 2003]
At Montgomery, AL At the Montgomery British Car show my car won a 2nd place! I had installed new lug nuts just before the show and wheel trim rings before judging began (not in this picture). I had spent the past two weeks detailing the engine compartment better to get ready for this show. I also used the steering wheel from my 1974 Spitfire after painting it black and installing a black vinyl steering wheel cover. It looks good but this car's original steering wheel will go back on after I make it look better. Photo by Mary of the Montgomery British Car club. [September 2003]
SABCC 2003 at Fairhope, AL At the British Car Festival of the South Alabama British Car Club, my car received a 3rd place out of 6 cars in the class (5 Spitfires and 1 GT6). It's a good show at Fairhope, Alabama, located in a shady park next to Mobile Bay. [November 2003]
