My yellow Spitfire needed a new radiator because I had to put it in the blue 1975 Spitfire. When I agreed to sell the 1975 1500, I was getting it ready for the buyer to drive it to Omaha when a friend noticed that the 1975 car's radiator was not in as good a shape as I had thought. So since my yellow Spitfire's radiator was good and the buyer would be here in a few days, I had to put the yellow car's radiator in the blue car and get the blue car ready to go. Sometime later I bought this new wider radiator from British Victoria. It wasn't perfect. There were two small bits of metal bouncing around the inside that took me a while to shake out. Then the upper hose pipe didn't lineup with the thermostat housing pipe, so I had to bend the upper radiator pipe a little. I used a broom handle to ensure the pipe didn't constrict while bending.
