"OSKAR"

A “Fid” is what we, Bird owners call our Feathered Kids. Like the old quote: “Birds of a Feather Flock Together”, it’s very true.

I have become a bird owner after my daughter Teri & her husband Chris did and I’m glad I have my fine. feathered friend, more like a Fid! Very intelligent, Loveable & Beautiful creatures of God.

My fid is a Blue Indian Ringneck Parrot, whose name is “Oskar”.

He was born on April 15th, 2000. I first saw this adorable little fellow in the pet store when I was shopping for bird items with Teri. Talk about love at first sight! Needless to say, he became part of our family by way of a surprise birthday gift from Teri & Chris.

Teri & Chris were given a baby Blue & Gold Macaw at about 6wks old from his mother, as an early wedding gift.. They both participated in hand feeding her(DOB-6/01/00). Now Coco is a gorgeous lovable bird. She is starting to talk, and can say many words very clearly.

I Recently (Jan 2001) became proud owner of a young 10 week old Peach-faced Lovebird. So now Oskar has a companion!
