The Begginers Rules

Hi, this is a section written for all you new players out there who don't know how to play yet. I'm not gonna reprint the rule book (which you get in all Preconstructed Decks). I will simply give you a few rules.

1. Flip a coin to see who goes first

2. Draw 7 cards and make sure you draw a card that says Basic Pokemon at the top. If you don't have a card that says Basic Pokemon shuffle your hand into your deck and draw again. Your opponent gets two extra cards.

3. Put 1 energy per turn on your own Pokemon.

4.When you have enough energy to attack you can attack (do not discard energy unless the attack tells you to) 5. When a Pokemon is knocked out they are put in the discard pile.

6.You draw once per turn

7.You may use as many trainers as you please during one turn

8.As soon as you attack your turn I over

9. If you knock out an opponents Pokemon draw one of six face down cards you set up after you draw your starting hand.

10. Have Fun! It's just a game. Beginners usually have trouble, don't worry about it, you will get better.

All right, here are some things that Beginners to Pokemon should now:

1. Don't buy a Starter Pack (they stink), buy another preconstrcted deck.

2. Play test your deck against a friend before going to a tournament.

3. Read the How to make a Good Deck area of the site to learn how to make a good deck.

4. Read the Counterfeit Alert section if your new because it will be harder for you to spot fake cards than an experienced player.

5.Charizard is not that good, he is not the best card, and he is not worth the most.
