Pokemon Report Card

All Pokemon are given a rating in stars, * being the worst and ***** being the best. I hope this will help you when making your decks. I may add fossil cards soon, but for the time being only Basic and Jungle. No trainers yet, I will put them up before fossil though. It wouldn't let me put links on this page so, go back to the Article/Stratige section for the rest of the cards.

Pokemon (Basic Set)

• Alakazam****(4)- Alakazams is slow because it takes three energy to do an attack that does 30 damage, and may confuse. The reason this card is a winner, Pokemon Power!
• Blastoise****(4)- Another slow pokemon. For three energy he can use an attack, the more energy you put on him the more damage it does. Why this Pokemon is a winner, Pokemon Power!
• Chansey***(3)- The king of stall pokemon. Attack is very slow and could end up killing itself. Why this Pokemon is good, can stall exellent with 120 HP and a move that can prevent damage.
• Charizard***(3)- Charizard can be good, or Charizard can be bad. Used with Venasaur he can be good. Used by himself he is bad. He is to slow. Sure he has 120 HP and an attack that does 100, but he is to slow.
• Clefairy***(3)- If Clefairy had more HP it would be a good Pokemon. With only 40 it is likely to get kill ed before it can attack. Metranome is a great move though.
• Gyrados****(4)- Good attacks, medium speed, good HP. Gyrados is a dood all around Pokemon.
• Hitmonchan****(4)- The King of speed, dealing out 80 damage in three turns. For one energy he can deal 20 damage. This card really should get a 4 and a half.
• Machamp***(3)- Not the best Pokemon Power. Slow attack, good HP, this Pokemon is just O.K.
• Magneton***(3)- It was a tuff decission on this card. It almost got a two. Average attacks, and not so hot HP. Not very fast either.
• Mewtwo***(3)- This card does not even come close to its charecter in the game. Bad attacks as far as I'm concered. Not great HP, and a move that just stalls.
• Nidoking****(4)- I really like the move Toxic. 20 poison damage per turn! Good HP and is medium to slow speed.
• Ninetails****(4)- Lure is a good move and so is Fire Blast. Pretty good HP too.
• Poliwrath****(4)- Whirlpool is good. Good HP, kinda slow though.
• Raichu****(4)- Agility is a grat move, and thunder can deal good damage too, pretty good HP and it is Seni-slow.
• Venasaur****(4)- Great Pokemon Power. O.K. attack but it is slow.
• Zapdos***(3)- Very slow. Thunder is good but unless you need one more prive Thunderbolt stinks.
• Beedrill***(3)- pretty good, kind of slow. Possible poison and 40 damage is very good.
• Dragonair***(3)- Energy removal and damage is always good. Slam isn't bad either.
• Dugtrio***(3)- O.K. ok attacks, preety good, kind of slow.
• Electrabuzz****(4)- Hitmonchans partner. Together they form the mighty Haymaker! Fast and good moves, capable of doing 50 damage in two turns.
• Electrode***(3)- Pokemon Power isn't great but can help in certain situations. Attack is pretty good. Pretty good HP.
• Pidgeotto***(3)- A tough one, almost got a two, not great attacks or HP. Whirlwind is good though.

• Arcanine****(4)- one of the best non-rare cards. Good HP(higest of a non-rare card), good attacks too. A litle slow though. It's close but I give it a four, opossed to a 3.
• Charmeleon***(3)- Another good uncommon. Pretty good HP, noce attacks, but a little slow.
• Dewgong***(3)- Yet another good uncommon. Good attacks, pretty good HP, but agian, kind of slow.
• Dratini**(2)- Allmost got a one. It has low HP, bad attack, but is fast.
• Farfetche'd***(3)- I don't understand all the hype about Farfetche'd. He is just a average Pokemon. Medium to low HP, O.K. attacks and has medium speed. 30 for three energy dosn't cut it. Leek Slap has a 50% chance of working, and then you can't use it again. I almost gave him a two.
• Growllithe**(2)- Not a good Pokemon. Low HP and attacks.
• Haunter***(3)- Coin fliping will decide how this Pokemon fights. Dream eater is nice but you can't count on it because your opponets not always slepping. Medium HP, O.K. attacks, medium speed.
• Ivysaur***(3)- Auto posion is nice, but other than that hes not a great Pokemon. Meddium HP, O.K. attacks, and slow to medium speed.
• Jynx****(4)- A great uncommon Pokemon. Meditate can destroy your opponet. huigh medium speed, high medium HP, and good attacks.
• Kadabra***(3)- Pretty good attacks, medium HP, and is has medium speed.
• Kakuna***(3)- A good staller if you don't have any rare cards. Pretty good HP, O.K. attacks, kind of slow.
• Machoke**(2)- Attacks bad, because karate chop usually dossen't do anything, and submission hurts himself. Pretty slow , but high HP. He almost got a three.
• Magikarp**(2)- Attacks are really bad at the most doing 20, HP is very low, but is semi fast, but attacks stink so it dosen't matter.
• Magmar****(4)- A really good Basic, not many reconize Magmar as a good card, he is realy fast and capable of doing 80 damage in three turns. The only downside is HP. Only 50. I could not decide between 3 and 4 so he actually gets a 3 and a half.
• Nidorino***(3)- A pretty good card. O.K. HP, pretty good attacks, and medium HP.
• Poliwhirl***(3)- An O.K. card, O.K. attacks, medium HP, and medium speed.
• Porygon***(3)- A close one, almost got a two. Bad HP, can deal no damage. Attacks are ok, speed is pretty good. Every once in a while attacks will come in handy.
• Raticate***(3)- Super Fang can be preety good to a fully pumped big Pokemon. Bite is quick so once you have used super fang it comes in handy. Medium Hp, pretty fast, pretty good attacks.
• Seel**(2)-Not a good card, bad attacks, low HP, but pretty fast.
• Wartortle***(3)- Pretty good Pokemon. Pretty good HP, medium speed, and O.K. attacks.
• Abra**(2)- Not too good. Low HP, low to medium attack, pretty fast.
• Bulbasaur**(2)- Leech seed is O.K., but has low HP, and has meium speed.
• Caterpie**(2)- Not good. Low HP, O.K attack(for a basic), good speed.
• Charmander***(3)- A good for a common Pokemon. Low HP, O.K. attacks, and is pretty fast.

• Diglet***(3)- God attacks, pretty fast, I have seen Diglet take ot two Hitmonchanes and two Hitmonlees.
• Doduo**(2)- If it wern't for high HP for a common it would have gotten on a one. Bad attacks, but fast, bad attacks though so it dossen't matter to much.
• Drowzee**(2)- Bad Pokemon, Low to Medium HP, bad attacks but one of them can confuse, pretty fast.
• Gastly**(2)- An O.K. staller, bad HP, O.K. attacks, and is prtty fast.
• Koffing***(3)- One of the better commons. For two energy will either confuse or poison. Medium speed, low to medium HP.
• Machop***(3)- Allmost got a two but is one of the better commons. Fast, Low to Medium HP and O.K. attack. For one energy you can deal 20 damage.
• Magnemite**(2)- Almost got a three. Pretty good attacks for a common. Pretty fast,pretty good attacks, low HP.
• Metapod**(2)- Another Staller. Pretty good HP, O.K. attacks and has medium speed.
• Nidoran(male)**(2)- Allmost got a three. Horn Hazerd is a pretty good attack for a basic. He's fast, but has low HP.
• Onix**(2)- High HP for a common, can stall against weak Pokemon. Bad attack, but is fast.
• Pidgey**(2)- Not good, Low HP, O.K. attack, medium speed.
• Pikachu***(3)- A good common. Pretty good attacks(for a common), Low Hp, pretty fast.
• Poliwag**(2)- Allmost got a one. Low HP, bad attack, kind of fast.
• Ponyta***(3)- A good common. Good attack(for a common), Low HP, medium speed.
• Rattata**(2)- pretty fast, bad attack, bad HP.
• Sandshrew**(2)- Low HP, O.K. attack(for a basic), fast.
• Squirtle**(2)- Low HP, pretty good attacks(for a common, medium speed.
• Starmie***(3)- Pretty good common, good attacks(for a common), medium HP, medium speed, a little slow.
• Staryu**(2)- Low HP, pretty fast, O.K. attack(for common).
• Tangela***(3)- I think Tangela is the best common. medium to low HP, good attacks(for common or uncommon), medium speed.
• Voltorb**(2)- Low HP, not great attack(for a common), and pretty fast.
• Vulpix**(2)- Low to medium HP, O.K. attack(for a basic), that can confuse, medium speed.
• Weedle**(2)- O.K. attack(for a basic), that can poison, low HP, fast.
