IMC-Agrico Peace River Park is a 400 acre riverside preserve located on the Peace River six
miles south of Bartow on SR 17 east of the Homeland flashing traffic light. There are picnic facilities, bathrooms, and a one mile boardwalk into the Peace River swamp. Look for wintering sparrows in the fields and during migration seasons, check for warblers. Short-tailed Hawks may nest here. This is a year-round
site but the Fall season (August-Oct) is best. For best results, walk the edge trail north along the tree line.
There is no entrance fee.
