A common permanent resident sometimes found in large numbers at fish kills and landfills. A record 1000 birds were counted at the central county landfill December 1998. LCBC high count of 1,306 in 1997.

A common permanent resident found at fish kills and landfills. A record 2,000 were counted at the central county landfill in late December 1998. LCBC high count of 9,020 in 1997.
