About

Christian Homeschool Fellowship

Christian Homeschool Fellowship of Palm Beach County is made up of Christian families dedicated to observing Biblical commands as outlined in Deuteronomy 6, Proverbs 22, and Ephesians 6, to train up our children in the love and admonition of the Lord. We promote home education as the scriptural design. We believe that every family has the God given, constitutional, and legal right to home educate, regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation.

Christian Homeschool Fellowship is not a church nor is it meant to replace the ministry of the local church to home educating families.

Every family has its own code of conduct. Attending a CHF get-together is very much like going to a large family gathering, and of course, we also have standards of behavior we expect members to follow. One big challenge we’ve found, is in parents keeping some part of their attention on their children while still enjoying conversation and fellowship with other parents. Then there’s the fact that children, who come in every size & personality style, sometimes behave differently in the presence of others then they do for their parents at home. That’s another good reason we encourage our members to faithfully monitor their child’s behavior during any CHF gathering, outing or field trip.

Please take time to read a wonderful article on the subject of home school etiquette, which can be reached by clicking the link below.

Common Sense & Home-school Etiquette

Christian Homeschool Fellowship of Palm Beach County has been established to provide support, encouragement, social opportunities, and information related to home education for its members.  The CHF organization and all of its activities and publications will consistently and forthrightly honor the Lord God. We have come together to keep each other from falling as we pursue our goal of teaching our children's hearts and minds at home.

We Believe:

The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, divine, preserved Word of God, the supreme and final authority for all faith and life.

That there is one God, externally existent in three persons, the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.

In the duty of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His imminent bodily return in power and glory.

That man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost and only those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, not trusting in any personal work whatsoever, can be saved.

That salvation is the free gift of God brought to the sinner by grace and received by personal faith in Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for our sins.

That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict mankind of sin, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

In the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ and that individual doctrinal differences that may exist should not hinder our Christian unity.

DEUTERONOMY 6:4-9

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD; and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

PROVERBS 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

EPHESIANS 6:4

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord
