STUEY'S PUNK & OI!: SHAM 69

Sham 69 was a punk rock band from Hersham, a suburb of London. The name SHAM 69 comes from their hometown of Her"SHAM" and of course, the number 69. SHAM was around in the late 70'sthrough the mid-eighties. To my knowledge, they're still around today, despite a breakup or two along the way. They were best known for the song "If the Kids Are United" which has been covered by the likes of theCASUALTIES, RANCID, and countless others. Although "If the Kids" is the most well known song, it was not their best. Be sure to check out the rest of SHAM 69's material, you'll thank me later.
