JC and Danielle walked down the side of the ship to their rooms. Titanic had been long and tiring, and they were glad to stretch their legs.

For the first time since they met, they were silent. Even during the movie they had talked non-stop, and now. .. nothing.

"JC. . . " Danielle said when they reached their doors.

"Yeah?"

Danielle paused, trying to figure out how to word her thoughts. "I. . . " she stopped, and shook her head.

"You what?" JC looked at Danielle, concerned.

"I want to know. . . " she stopped again.

"What? What do you want to know?"

"What are we?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean. . . what are we? Are we friends. . . close friends, or. . . are we more then that?"

"I-I'm not sure."

"Because I have to be honest with you, I like you alot, I-"

"I like you alot, too."

"Then what are we doing playing these little flirting games? If we both like eachother and we both know we like eachother. . . I just think more should come of this."

JC nodded. "I think so, too."

"Then. . . "

"Then what?"

Danielle bit her lip, thinking, then looked into his eyes boldly. "Then kiss me."

JC looked at her, almost shocked. "Nobody ever said that to me before. . . well, over the age of 13 anyways."

Danielle propt her hand on her hip, impatiently. "So, are you going to kiss me or not?"

He gave her a cute half smile. "Of course I am."

JC took a step closer. Danielle tilted her head upward as JC softly cupped his hands around her face. He moved his face closer, and their eyes fluttered shut as their lips finally met. Once, twice, three times, before their lips parted, and JC's tounge brushed against Danielle's.

They slowly pulled apart, JC still holding Danielle's face. Danielle's eyes opened to find two beautiful blue eyes starring into her. That had been the most incredible, passionate, soul-touching kiss she had ever shared with another human being, and he could see that all in her eyes. His eyes told her he felt the same way.

JC nudged a loose strand of hair out of her face with his thumb, and softly caressed her cheek. He began tracing her lips with his finger.

He bent down and kissed her again.

"Do you-" Danielle quietly cleared her throat. "Do you want to come in?"

JC nodded.

Danielle gently pulled her face from his hands and opened the door.

JC took Daniele's hand from behind and laced his fingers through hers.

Danielle pulled him inside the dark room. She shut the door, and turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He tightly wraped his arms around her waist, and pulled her close, their lips meeting again, and again, each kiss filled with more passion then the one before it.

Still holding eachother tightly and kissing they somehow made their way to the couch and sat down.

Almost instantly a lamp was turned on, and JC and Danielle jumped apart.

Brittny was sitting on the couch next to the light. Her eyes were red and puffy, and tears ran down her cheaks rapidly.

"Brittny!" Danielle cried, leaving JC's side to be closer to Brittny. "What happened?"

"Nothing." she sobbed.

"Your sitting here bawling your eyes out in the dark and your gonna tell me nothings wrong?"

"I don't feel comfortable talking about it in front of JC." Brittny said quietly.

Danielle shot JC a 'do you mind?' look. He nodded, and stood up. He leaned down and gave her a peck on the cheek, then left.

"Now," Danielle said when he was gone. "What happened?"

"Lance." she choked out.

"What about Lance?"

Brittny told her the whole story, not sparing any details. "And it's almost seven, and he's not here. He made up with her. I feel like such a fool. I can't face him anymore."

Danielle gave her a short, comforting hug. "It'll be okay. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Now, all you can do is get passed it and find someone else."

"But I really really like him. I've never felt like this about anyone before, ever." more tears fell down her face. She leaned back and groaned. "I need a popsicle."

"Do you want me to go to the ship store and get you one?"

Brittny nodded.

"Alright, I'll be back in a few."

Luckily, the ship store was right down the hall from them. She bought two popsicles, and started to hurry back to the room. Somebody knocked into her from behind and kept running. She recognized the spikey bleach-blonde hair. "Lance!" she yelled.

He whirled around. "Hi, Danielle. I don't want to be rude, but I gotta go talk to Brittny."

"I don't think thats such a good idea. I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to see you right now."

"Why?!"

"She told me what happened, and you never showed up when you were supposed to."

"Damndit! I tried so hard, but Danielle was yelling at me and I couldn't leave."

"So, you broke up with her?"

"Yes!"

Danielle threw her arms around him for a hug. She pulled away grinning. "Well, don't just stand there! Go tell her!" she ordered.

"Ok." Lance laughed.

She handed him the popsicles and her key. "Bring her these, and use my key to get in. I'll go over to JC's, so you can be alone.

"Thanx." Lance turned and ran down the hall, only stopping when he got to the door, and unlocked it.

When he walked in, Brittny looked up at him, burst into tears, ran into her room and locked it.

Lance's heart dropped. She had looked soooo sad. He couldn't believe he had caused her so much pain. It made him sick to think he could so that to her.

He threw the popsicles on the table, and ran over to Brittny's door, and knocked on it.

"Go away!" she yelled.

"Brittny-"

"I said go away!"

"Please come out."

"No."

"I'm sorry I'm late. I had to listen to Danielle scream while I packed my stuff."

"Why would you pack your stuff?"

"Because I can't stay in the same room with one woman and be with another. I'm moving in next door with Joey and JC."

Brittny was silent.

"I'm sorry. I'm soooo sorry. I need you to know that I feel so strongly about you, and I just wanna be with you. I need you."

Brittny wiped the tears from her face. "Are you sure?" she sniffed.

"Totally and completly."

She slowly opened the door.

Lance smiled at her, and pulled her into his arms. "I'm so sorry."

She just nodded silently and burried her head on his shoulder, as Lance held her so close, and so tight, as if he would never let go.
