DING DONG
DING DONG
Mackenzie Wattley looked up from doing the dishes. She walked
over to the door to see who it was.
“Mac, are you home.” Someone yelled from the other side of the
door. Mackenzie slowly opened the door to find a rather angry Nick Carter,
and a giddy A.J. McLean on the other side.
“Well, well, well. Isn’t this an unexpected repulsion,” she said
glaring at Nick who gave her a wry smile.
“As always a pleasure to see you too.”
“Hey J, how are you. You certainly look happy,” Mac said as she
gave him her award-winning smile.
“Wow, you can smile. I always thought you could only make that
one disgusted face,” Nick said smiling widely.
“I only grimace when it comes to you Nicky.”
“You know I hate being called that.” Nick said, his anger growing.
“I know that’s why I say it,” said Mac.
“Could you two stop for just a moment, I have really great news,”
A.J. said interjecting in the two’s argument.
“Tell us already so I don’t have to stay here any longer than
I have to,” Nick said as he forcefully pushed past Mac and walked into
her living room.
“Such a gentlemen as always Nick. No wonder you have girls falling
all over you.”
“Like you would know what it’s like to be wanted,” Nick said
turning his attention to Mac.
“You know what Nick…”
“STOP you two! Enough! God you’re like two old ladies!”
Sorry J,” Nick and Mac said at the same time.
Ok, so what’s this news you have to tell us?” inquired Mac.
“Well, I have a new girlfriend,” said A.J. a little to excitedly.
“What do you guys think?” Nick and Mac just looked at each other. They
both knew that A.J. had been in some bad relationships in the past. They
both cared for him very much. Mac cared for him more than anyone. They
had been best friends since they were little. They were both born in the
same hospital, and their mothers had been best friends for years before
that. “So what do you guys think? Say something Mac.”
“That’s great J,” she said pasting a fake smile one her face.
“I’m happy for you.”
