I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!
Chapter Thirteen

Recap: …A.J. and Nick please don’t get into any trouble, and Nick there’s a whole table full of food over there o.k? Promise me you’ll be good. This would entail not hitting on any of the half-dressed models k?
“O.k., o.k. What do you think we are Mac?” A.J. said acting hurt.
“Men.” Mac turned away from them and went to her dressing room.

Mac came back out in Earth Angel’s underwear, and a pair of angel’s wings. Nick and A.J. turned around, and their mouths dropped. Mac was gorgeous, and in what she was wearing, it left nothing to the imagination. Mac walked over to the photographer and make-up artists as they got her ready for the shots.
“Hey guy? Do you know where these photos are gonna be hung?” Mac said as the make-up artists were putting glitter on her.
“Probably somewhere in Times Square. I’m not exactly sure. I know they are going to be in Victoria’s everywhere.” Guy said focusing the camera.
“Ok.” Mac said as she stood there waiting for instructions.
“Alrighty. I’m ready now. Sit on the ground and look right at the camera.”
“On the ground? It’s freezing!” Mac said almost whining.
“Sorry, but that’s what they want the shoot to look like.” Guy said apologetically.
“I’m not sorry.” A.J. said to Nick.
“Neither am I bro.” Nick said looking back at Mac.
“Great Mac. That’s perfect.” Guy said as he snapped the camera at her different poses. “Great. I’m gonna go get the other models. I’ll be back in a little while, you can get up if you want.”
“Thanks Guy.” Mac said wincing slightly as she got off the cold floor. “Hey guys. Enjoying yourselves?” Mac said walking to where Nick and A.J. were to get a cup of coffee.
“Very much so. Thanks for bringing us Mac.” A.J. said almost shyly.
 “Yea, thanks.” Nick added.
“What? You two at a loss for words? No way! Are you guys nervous?” Mac questioned. But, before the guys could answer, Guy came back with the rest of the models.”
 “Come on Mac, we’re ready.”
“Oh, I’ve gotta go. Sorry, here take this.” Mac said handing A.J. her not yet drunken from coffee. Mac walked back over to Guy and got in the crowd with the rest of the models.
“God Nick.  Why haven’t I noticed how gorgeous Mac was before?”
 “Because you’re a fool.”
 “Thanks Nick. I’m serious though.”
“And so am I. I noticed how beautiful Mac was, but she didn’t love me. She loves you.” Nick said quickly regretting it. “I mean…”
“What do you mean you noticed how beautiful Mac is? What’s that supposed to mean.” A.J. already knew they went out, but he wanted to hear it from them.
“Ok J. I’m gonna tell you something, but you have to promise not to get mad. O.K?”
 “O.k.”
“Mac and I went out about two years ago. I’m sorry we never told you. It’s just that she didn’t love me the way she loves you. Sure she hasn’t exactly admitted to loving you, but I know she does. I see the way she looks at you, and the way you look and her.” That’s all A.J. needed to know. She loved him, and he loved her. Now what were they supposed to do?
“Thanks man. I really needed to hear that.” A.J. said as he patted his friend on the back.
“No prob. Are you gonna tell Mac that you know?”
“Yeah, but I haven’t figured out how yet.”
“I think I have an idea.” Nick said as he schemed a perfect night for A.J. and Mac.
