Snow fell last night, and
you'd
expect To see a lovely sight, (When looking out the window there) Of pure, unblemished white; Of trees all dressed in velvet coats And fence posts neatly capped, Of window ledges, heaped with frost Where winter's fingers tapped. |

A
snowman family standing by Is quite a work of art! With Daddy's hat and Mother's scarf, Each one can fill his part. The fingerprints on window ledge Left intricate design, And on the porch a fluffy cake Awaits the call to dine. |
