"I cant believe you're making me do this!" Jen whispered., slouched down against the wall of the hotel. The air outside was hot and humid, and after waiting out there for as long as her and Kim were, she was pretty fed up.
"I keep telling you, it's worth it!" Kim yelled, taking one last sip of her blue gatorade, before tossing it into the garbage can beside her. She grimaced as she touched the walls- they felt sticky, and she didnt even want to know why! The outside of the hotel wasnt great, but the inside was. Kim crouched down to her knees, her white jeans almost touching the ground. She searched to her left and tried to see through the window to the garage below the parking lot. Nothing yet. She sighed and attempted to keep the small strands of brown hair up in her hair-do. Jen had started looking around too. Still sitting down, she looked up at the big red bus in front of her. Orlando, the license plate read. Jen had just cut her blond hair very short, and wasnt quite yet used to it. That bus reflected her picture in it and she looked back down to the cemented ground. "It looks GOOD" Kim reassured her. The bus had been sitting there as long as they had. There was no one inside it. Anymore. The girls were surprised no other girls were there. Just this time, nobody knew where to go. Kim and Jen did. They had their ways. Jen hadnt been too thrilled about doing this. Of course, she wanted to see Nick...but four hours was too long. But Kim wouldnt give up, and forced her to stay. She was convinced they could make a normal, good impression on them. Now 18, these girls had attracted guys all the time, but had never settled down with one, in hopes that the perfect one would someday walk by.
"Excuse me-" A voice yelled firmly from their right. The girls turned their heads in shock, and saw a tall man dressed in black. He glared at them with his arms crossed. "I think I'm going to have to ask you girls to leave. I'm sorry, but, have you not read the sign?" he asked, pointing to a metal white sign above him on the outside wall. No Loitering at any time, it read. Kim and Jen both sighed. They were sick of fighting about this kind of stuff, so slowly just got up and began to walk down the strip of pavement sidewalk on their left. Kim watched that bus sadly as she forced herself to keep going. Jen grabbed her by the arm and, with the same depressed face, looked back at the man as he walked away with his back to theirs.
"Sorry sir." She whispered.
