*She placed a glass in Kevin's big hands. His eyes shot down at her lovingly still, and the Christmas music repeated itself in the background. "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire... jackfrost nipping at your nose..." He then looked down at the glass and swished what it was inside around in it.
"Its egg nog!" Savannah said, smiling. The party of people around them didnt seem to be there again- everytime they were together it was as if they were alone. The atmosphere was beautiful, and wreaths, Christmas trees and lights were hung across the borders of the house all over, Christmas music was playing, the fire was on, people were dancing and chatting. She loved it more than anything.
"Egg nog?" He laughed. "You mean you want me to drink something with eggs in it?! Ew!" He stuck his tongue out and scrunched up his nose. She loved it so much when he scrunched his nose that she was forced to reach up and kiss him softly on the lips. Giving him a seductive type look and a small smile, she responded.
"Kev hasnt tried egg nog, eh? It tastes good!" She assured him. He looked down at the glass again, swishing it around and seeing that it was very thick and worse than 2% milk.
"Well I'm always up to trying new things..." He said, as he took his first sip and Savannah watched smiling for his reaction. He smiled. "It's really good...." He managed to fit in, before he kept drinking it. It left a milk mustache in his almost shaven mustache above his lips and Savannah watched him lick it off as well. He looked down and set his glass on the table beside them. Smiling and extending a hand out to her, he pulled her close to her. "Would you like to... dance, my lady?"*

Justin laughed at her. "You crazy." He smiled. Savannah gave him a surprised look, her mouth held open. She hit him playfully.
"Youre supposed to be listening and being supportive!" She pouted. He laughed.
"I am, I am. Ya just dont know it yet." He responded. Laughing at how she associated everything with her lost first love, he pointed above them. Well it wasnt above them, it was closer to the fireplace. "Look Savannah! Mistletoe!" he knew she would have a story about that. She sighed and pretended to pout again, shifting more comfortably on the couch, and crossing her arms in from of her, still holding the glass in one hand.

*The two danced together slowly in the center of the room, looking into each other's eyes and swaying back and forth to the old fashioned Christmas music. Couples around them danced too, and Savannah could feel their eyes upon them, everyone seeemed to be watching. Her friends were there, and they knew how much she had fallen in love with this guy. She pulled her eyes away from Kevin's face and glanced over his shoulder. She saw Jen, dancing with her boyfriend Russ near the Christmas tree, not far from the center of the room. Their eyes met together and Jen gave her a huge grin. "merry christmas..." Jen mouthed to her from afar, and shifted her eyes up. Savannah smiled back but wondered what she was motionning to. When she looked up, she knew what Jen was showing her. Mistletoe. Her and Kevin had chosen right under the mistletoe... Kevin, watching Savannah closely this whole time, looked up as well and a huge smile appeared on his face when he saw what it was she was looking at. The room lights dimmed a little and Savannah felt all eyes upon them, but the sense again that they were together kept them alone. The fire flickered in behind them, and she wrapped her arms around his neck tighter. He smiled.
"Merry Christmas my love..." Kevin whispered in her ear. The two moved closer and their lips met...*

"I know what happens after that, dont worry, I know I know...!" Justin interrupted. Savannah shook her head, the memories were now fresh in her head and she couldnt find a more comfortable place to be, if only she was there now.
"Youre not the biggest help!" She responded, sipping her egg nog again. Justin almost started to laugh, he was smiling so much.
"There's so much you dont know, my friend." He laughed. Savannah scrunched up her nose and questionned him.
"What..?" She asked unexcitedly.
"Well you see, *I* am a--" Justins words were interrupted by a sudden loud bell sound, the door being opened behind them and Savannah knew someone was just coming into the cafe. The door burst open with a cold rush of air coming in from outside. She heard the person stomp their feet on the carpet underneath them and heard the door shut again behind them. The next words she heard would almost cause her to stop breathing.
"SAVANNAH!"
As she turned around in surprise that the person was calling HER name, she almost spilt her eggnog on Justin. Her eyes welled up and she became totally speechless. All memories rushing forward, she looked in to the green eyes that stood in the doorway behind them.
"I'm a better friend than you could IMAGINE!" Justin continued.
