Chapter One

"AJ, what are you talking about?" I asked my boyfriend, extremely annoyed with him.

"Nothing, nevermind," he growled and walked off, frustrated with me as well.

I love AJ with all my heart, but sometimes I just cant deal with his stupid accusations. It's annoying and makes me feel like he doesnt trust me. Any time I talk to another male speciman, I get my head bitten off.

I grunted something incoherent and walked off into the bedroom we shared. AJ was in the computer room, probably online, again. I swear ever since the boys decide to take a "break" he's spent all his free time on that damn computer.

I picked up the phone by the bed and dialed Kevin's number. Kevin and I have grown really close ever since AJ and I got together. When AJ's not around, Kevin is.

"What's up Marissa?" Kevin asked picking up the phone. Caller I.D.

"Kevin, he's doing it again," I sighed into the phone.

"What is he accusing you of now?" Kevin asked knowing exactly what she was talking about.

"Now Im spending all the money," I rolled my eyes and threw myself onto the bed.

"I dont know what to tell you sweetie. Maybe I can talk to him about his attitude lately," Kevin suggested sounding sincere.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," I agreed.

"OK, well, get some rest and I'll call you in the morning," he said.

"Ok, Kevin. Bye," I said and hung up the phone.

"Who were you talking to?" AJ blurted, bursting into the room.

"Kevin, if you must really know," I barked.

"Why do you always run to Kevin when we fight? Cant you just keep it between us?" AJ asked, his voice rising.

"Sorry. I just needed someone to talk to," I whispered.

"Im sorry baby," AJ said sitting down next to me on the bed. He pulled me into his arms and kissed my forehead.

"Why are we always fighting?" I asked, a tear falling from my eye.

"I dont know. But from now on, Im going to try and change things. For us, ok?" he asked looking down at me.

"Ok," I nodded.

"Come on, let's go to bed. Get some rest and we'll talk in the morning. Tomorrow will be a day for just the two of us. No distractions and no one else for us to be bothered with. We'll do whatever you want," AJ promised.

"Ok," I nodded.

*The Next Morning*

I stood in the kitchen, my bootleg Gap jeans and my red tank top clinging to my body. My hair was pulled up into a pony-tail and I did my makeup lightly.

"It's gonna get warm today. You might want to put on some shorts," AJ advised coming into the kitchen.

"Oh, ok," I nodded and walked off to the bedroom to change. Today, AJ and I were going to the zoo. Somewhere where not a lot of people were and we could spend a little time, just enjoying a nice Sunday afternoon.

Now, let me explain how AJ and I met. We were standing in the McDonalds that is right up the street and I remember turning around and seeing this guy. The tips of his hair were dyed blue and he had dark sunglasses over his eyes. He had a white wifebeater on and baggy jeans. I remember wanting to desperatly to take another look at him, so I did.

We started talking and pretty soon we were sharing a table eating our burgers and fries. It all developed from there. I cant even begin to explain how much in love with AJ I am. Yeah, we fight, but there is no one else like him. He really truly is a one of a kind.

Sometimes I get afraid though, that he's gonna just take off and leave me one day. Being a Backstreet Boy, he can have any girl he wants. I know that I shouldn't be worried about it, but sometimes, you have to.
