Megan:
Ok, it was Friday night. All was good with AJ and Micki, thank G-D. I think Lexi and Kevin are starting to date, but Im really confused on those too. Leah and Brian act like they’re together. You know, the jealous looks as the other talks/looks at someone of the opposite sex, etc.
Well, Im really nervous, because tonight, Nick is taking me out to dinner. Im wearing Micki’s black dress and I think I look pretty good, for emotionally being a wreck. I dont think Ive ever been so nervous in my life!
Just as I was checking my hair for the millionth time, I heard a knock at the door.
“Coming!” I called. I rushed to the door, grabbing my purse on the way. When I opened the door, an older man, in a tuxedo stood in front of me.
“I will be escorting you to the location where you will be meeting Mr. Nick Carter,” the man said.
“Uh, ok,” I said shutting my door.
The man walked me to a white limo, where he opened the door for me. I climbed in and looked around at the leather seats, the tv set, the radio, and the wine with two glasses sitting towards the driving.
I sighed as I still took in what was going on. I was riding in a limo to go meet Nick. Maybe he was going to declare his love for me or something. But, Nick doesnt seem like the romantic type. But, Im not complaining, this is great.
The driver drove a short distance, in fact it was like a two minute drive. I waited for him to come around and open the limo door for me.
“Here we are miss,” he said holding out his arm for me.
I stepped out of the limo and looked around. We were at the park that we took the guys to that one night.
“Where is he?” I asked the driver.
“Right over there miss,” the driver said pointing to the dock, where Nick was contently standing, holding a bouquet of flowers. I smiled as I walked over towards him.
“These are for you,” Nick said handing me the flowers.
“Thank you so much Nick,” I said inhaling their sweet scent.
“Now, tonight is going to be very simple. We are going to sit on the dock, watch the boat show and at the end of the night, there will be a surprise for you. But, we have to wait until the very last boat,” Nick informed me.
“Ive waited all week for this surprise and you’re going to make me wait even more?” I asked smiling up at him.
“Yep,” he smiled back.
Kevin:
Lexi and I are getting along great. You know, Im not sure if we’re together or not. I mean, sometimes we’ll give each other little pecks on the lips and we’ll talk like we’re together, but no one has ever made it official.
Tonight, Nick was out surprising Megan. AJ and Micki were off in LaaLaa Land together. Howie and Adrienne were right behind Micki and AJ. Brian and Leah were probably glaring at someone for even thinking about talking to one or the other.
And here I was, sitting at home, thinking about Lexi. I have no clue where she was or who she was with, etc.
AJ:
Micki and I were out to dinner. I was meeting her parents and let me tell you, I am so nervous.
“Did I mention my sister and her husband are coming tonight too?” she asked as I was driving to the restaurant.
“No,” my voice squeaked.
“Honey, are you ok?” she asked looking concerned.
“I think so,” I said smiling weakly.
“Do you want me to drive?” she asked.
“No, it’s ok. Im fine,” I assured her.
“Thank you so much for meeting my family tonight. Im sure they’ll love you,” she said smiling.
“I hope so,” I sighed.
We arrived at the restaurant and walked up to the hostess.
“Hi, we have reservations under McLean,” she grinned.
“Right this way. The rest of your party is waiting for you,” she said grabbing two menus.
“Come on honey,” she took my hand and we followed the hostess to the table, where Micki’s father, mother, brother-in-law, and sister all sat.
“Hi guys,” Micki said as we walked up.
“Hi Micki,” they all said.
“Everyone I want you to meet AJ. AJ this is my dad, my mom, my sister, Amee, and her husband Paul,” she said pointing everyone out.
“Hi, nice to meet you,” I said politily.
Micki and I sat down next to her parents, thank goodness I didnt have to sit next to her dad, I didnt want him threatening me half way through my dinner.
“So, AJ. Micki says you’re in the music business?” her mother asked looking at me.
“Yeah, Im in a group,” I nodded, relaxing a little.
“We saw the gameshow you two were on,” her mother told me.
“Really? Whatd you think?” I asked.
“You definitly chose the best out of the three,” her dad said.
“Daddy, that’s not nice,” Micki said blushing.
“No, I agree,” I said smiling.
Ok, this isnt as bad as I thought. Micki told me her family can be a little intimidating at first. But, this isnt so bad.
“Is that a tattoo?” her mother asked.
“Mom, mind your own business,” Micki snapped.
“It was just a question,” she rolled her eyes.
“Well Mom, you dont have to be rude about it,” she said closing her menu. I hadnt even opened mine.
“It was just a question Micki,” her mother shrugged.
Please dont be against tattoos.
Howie:
It was Friday night and I was spending it with Adrienne, no surprise there. This time, though, she came to Orlando instead of me going to Tampa. We were on our way to Jennifer’s house right now to have dinner with her and Robert.
“Im excited to see Jennifer, I havent seen her in awhile,” Adrienne said shifting in the passenger seat.
“Yeah, I know. Her and I dont talk much anymore,” I said smiling.
“Because of me?” Adrienne asked frowning.
“No, no! We just never catch each other anymore,” I said, hoping she wouldnt start feeling bad.
“Are you sure. Because I will feel horrible,” she said.
“I promise honey,” I said looking at her sincerely.
“We’re here!” she announced pointing at Jennifer’s house.
We got out of the car and walked up to the front.
“Hey you two,” Jennifer greeted opening the door.
“Hey!” Adrienne and I said at the same time. We did the usual, you know hugs, kisses, etc.
“Come on in. I was just putting dinner on the table,” she said moving out of the way so we could come in.
“Let’s eat!” Robert said from the dining room. I looked at Adrienne who was smiling. We followed Jennifer into the dining room and Adrienne and I sat across from each other. Robert and Jennifer sat on either end of the table.
We all began passing around the food. Once we started eating, the table grew into silence.
“Well, Robert and I have an announcement,” Jennifer said breaking the silence.
We stopped eating and looked at Jennifer.
“What?” Adrienne asked.
“Well, Robert and I are going to have a baby,” she exclaimed.
“Oh my goodness! That is so wonderful!” Adrienne exclaimed dropping her fork.
“Congragulations,” I said a little shocked.
“Thanks,” she beamed. She was obviously really happy about the news.
“When did you find out?” Adrienne asked, ignoring her food completely.
“Yesterday. I am so excited,” Jennifer gushed.
“This is so awesome. How far along are you?” Adrienne asked.
“Three months,” she answered. I looked at Robert, he had stopped eating and was just staring.
“What’s wrong man?” I asked Robert.
“Uh? Nothing man,” he said shaking his head.
“What do you think about this baby?” I asked as the girls gushed about how cute the baby was going to be.
“I still kinda like, wow, you know?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I nodded.
“Im kinda scared too,” he admitted.
“Why?” I asked.
“I dont want to be a bad father,” he said.
“Man, you’ll do fine,” I assured him.
“I hope so,” he nodded.
