"Im gonna go out with the guys tonight," AJ announced to me as I was in the kitchen cooking dinner.
"Huh?" I asked, looking up from what I was stirring.
"Im gonna go out with the guys tonight," he said.
"Are you going to eat first?" I asked, annoyed, yet again.
"No, Im just gonna get a bite with them," he answered.
"Ok," I said rolling my eyes. I turned off the stove and stomped off to our room.
"Dont get all pissy about it!" AJ shouted after me. I slammed the door and let out a frustrated groan. I heard AJ slam the front door shut and then I walked out of the room. I dialed Kevin's number and patiently waited for him to answer.
"Hello?" he answered.
"Kevin, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Nothing. Just hanging out."
"Are you going out with AJ?"
"No, I havent talked to AJ all day."
"What about the other guys?"
"Brian and Leah went out to dinner, I talked to him about twenty minutes ago. Nick is playing basketball with some of his friends, uh, Howie is helping his sister at the studio."
"So, none of them are going out with AJ tonight?"
"Not that I know of."
"AJ just told me he was going out with you guys."
"Well, I dont know what to tell you, he's not hanging out with me tonight."
"Thanks Kevin."
I hung up with Kevin and walked into the computer room. I signed online under AJ's screenname.
I looked on his buddy list and saw an unfamiliar screenname. Just then I got an instant message.
"AJ! I thought you were coming over?!
I looked at the screen blankly. I clicked to get a profile and in a moment a profile appeared.
Member Name: Kendra; Location: Orlando, Fl;Birthdate: You gonna buy me something?;Sex: Female; Marital Status: Taken by my baby, Alex.
I stopped there. Ouch. I cannot believe this! I got another instant message.
"AJ! Answer me. Im getting impatient!
"Gotta go."
I signed off and I knew my face was crimson with anger. I need to get out. I grabbed my purse and car keys and got into my BMW Z3 and began my drive over to Kevin's house.
