Chapter Seven

AJ wanted to kiss Micki so bad and the way Micki was responding to him attempting his kiss, she wanted to kiss him too.

AJ leaned in closer to Micki's mouth, he could feel her breath and his heart started pounding. What if she rejected him, it's too late to turn back now.

AJ placed his lips on Micki's, softly at first, then he stuck his tongue in as she responded eagerly, like she had been waiting forever to kiss him.

AJ placed his hand around her waist as she put her's around his neck.

After a few minutes of tonsil hockey, Micki pulled away.

"Im sorry AJ," she said, swimming over to the ladder and quickly getting out. She wrapped herself in a towel and looked down at AJ as he still stood in the same spot in the pool.

"Im not," he said climbing out the side.

"Im getting married AJ, I cant be kissing other guys. Guys that Ive known for two days," Micki explained.

"I felt something," AJ told her.

Micki was scared, because she had felt something too, and that scared her. Something she never felt with Matt, ever. Micki didnt know what to do or say, so she just stood there, looking down at her feet.

"I guess I'll be going," AJ announced walking up to her and grabbing a towel.

"It's too late to drive home," she told him, hoping he wouldnt leave.

"What else am I supposed to do?"AJ asked.

"Sleep on the couch," Micki told him, walking into her house.

"Thanks," AJ mumbled, not able to look Micki in the eyes.

"You're welcome," she said softly as she disappeared into her room.

Micki changed into her favorite silk pajamas. As she brushed out the knots in her hair she remembered the way she loved the feeling of AJ's lips on her own. She liked that feeling, a lot.

Her thoughts were interupted by the phone ringing.

"Hello?" she answered the one by her nightstand.

"Hey Mick, Matt there?" Jerry asked.

"No, he left earlier, probably wont be back for a few days," Micki told him.

"Oh." Click.

Jerry was going to be Matt's best man. Even though she knew she was the last person Jerry would want his best friend to marry.

Thoughts of Matt flooded Micki's brain. She kissed another man. How could she. What was she thinking. She was thinking of how much of a good kisser AJ was, that's what she was thinking.

Micki yawned and grabbed a blanket and a pillow and took into AJ who was already laying down on the couch.

"Here you go," Micki said giving him the blanket and pillow.

"Thanks," he replied.

Micki nodded and walked off to her room before she had to look into AJ's beautiful eyes again, would she be able to resist him? She had to.
