"Micki, you are so lucky to have someone that loves you as much as AJ does," Adrienne commented. Adrienne was another one of Micki's good friends.
"I know," Micki beamed looking at wedding dresses. She searched and searched for the perfect one, but it still hasnt come across her yet.
"Micki, what about this one?" LaDawn called from the other side of the store.
Micki looked up and saw where LaDawn was standing and headed over that way along with Megan, Adrienne, and Alexis. All went shopping with her to help her pick out the perfect dress.
Micki stopped before a beautiful white gown. It was absolutly perfect.
"This is the one," Micki sighed.
LaDawn smiled in pride. This was her first break from her baby since she had it. Right now, the baby was having fun with its daddy. Micki took the dress down and walked over to the lady standing behind a counter.
"Excuse me, this is the dress I want," Micki told her.
"Yes, ma'am," the woman smiled.
Later~
"AJ! Im home!" Micki called when she walked into the front door.
"Hey baby," AJ said walking into the hallway and giving her a kiss.
"What did you do all day?" she asked.
"Hung out with the guys," AJ replied, not going into detail.
"Awww, I see," Micki smiled going into the kitchen.
"Guess who called today?" AJ asked, his voice giving no hints.
"Um, your mom?" Micki guessed smiling.
"My mother calls every day," AJ smiled.
"Um, I dont know, who?" Micki asked curious.
"I dont know who she is, but she said her name was Maggie, she said she was an old friend," AJ told her.
Micki stopped what she was doing and froze. Maggie wasnt any old friend, that was Matt's mother.
"You are to call her as soon as possible," AJ gave her the message. Micki turned to face AJ, fear crowding her mind.
"That's Matt's mother," Micki told him.
His eyes got wide as he listened to what Micki just told him.
"Are you serious?" he asked.
Micki nodded and AJ held out his arms to give her a hug. Micki fell into his arms and he held her tight, reassuring her everything would be ok.
