"We're going to talk this through. This elevator isnt moving until you can talk to me without yelling," AJ told her.
Micki glared at him.
AJ knelt down in front of Micki and took her hands into his. He couldnt believe what he had done.
AJ took the ring Micki had thrown at him and put it back on her finger.
Micki didnt stop him.
"AJ I love you so much and I cant believe you did that," Micki said softly.
"I know baby. I am so sorry," AJ whispered.
"Can you imagine what I was feeling when I saw you walk off with that girl," Micki asked.
"No, that pain is unimaginable," AJ answered looking into her eyes.
"All that pain Matt put me through, AJ. That was nothing compared to what I felt just now," Micki told him.
AJ whinced at this. He never wanted to hurt her. This was completely unforgivable.
"I am so sorry Micki. You dont understand how sorry I am," AJ said.
"Yes I do," Micki whispered.
AJ looked at her. He couldnt understand why he would ever do something like that to someone who was so beautiful.
"Do you forgive me?" AJ asked.
Micki nodded and felt a tear fall down her cheek. She couldnt not forgive him. AJ sighed in relief.
"I will tell you this though AJ," Micki began.
"Yes?" he asked.
"I will forgive, but I wont forget," Micki said. AJ nodded and leaned over and kissed her lips. Micki pulled away.
"I want you to go to the hotel room and take a shower and brush your teeth. I dont want to smell her on you or taste her," Micki said bitterly.
AJ nodded and pushed the button so the elevator would go. They went up and to the room. AJ went in and took a shower and brushed his teeth. When he returned, the sheets were off the bed and sitting by the door.
AJ looked at her, through his eyes asking for an answer.
"The sheets smell like her," Micki told him. Just then there was a knock at the door. Micki opened it and handed the woman all the sheets and pillows in exchange for new ones.
"Micki, come here," AJ said pulling her into his arms after she made the bed.
Micki looked into his eyes.
"I want to tell you something," AJ said.
"What?" Micki asked.
"Remember when I sat down at the bar the night we met?" he asked.
"Before you talked to me?" Micki asked.
"Yeah," AJ answered. Micki nodded.
"I knew I loved you before I met you," AJ told her.
"I love you AJ," Micki said sobbing into his chest. He ran his fingers through her hair.
"I love you so much," AJ told her.
