I sketched this from various sources at around the time that Italeri came out with the new 1/72 Celt/Gauls Warriors.

Sketch Two: Ancient Theban Ruins

This sketch was from an older book I found at my public library. With all the new ancient figures coming out, a Theban ruin seemed like a good prospect.

Sketch Three: Hill of Tara

For this sketch, I had just finished Morgan Llewellyn's book The Lion of Ireland, and wondered about making a small terrain piece of the Hill of Tara. After an exhaustive research, I did finally find a small aerial picture of the area.

Sketch Four: Mecca

This quick sketch of ancient Mecca was from one of the older Time-Life books. Like Baghdad, a diorama of this scale requires more space than I currently have.
