Weight: 257 lbs.
Hometown: Paris, France
Entrance Music: "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega
Physical Appearance: The Existentialist usually wears a black and white stripped shirt and black cotton pants. He wears a black cotton overcoat. He has pale skin and brown eyes. His hair is long and black. It is usually tied back and put underneath his black beret. He smoke clove cigarettes with a long black cigarette holder. In-Ring Appearance: A black and white stripped shirt and black wrestling trunks.
Background: La Existentalist ne garde acune rancune!
Alignment (Face, Heel, Neutral): Neutral
Set up Move: Various
Finisher: The Existential Angst - Denis chokes his opponent unconscious and then steps over to the edge of the rings and sips on a glass of wine. After discussing with his manager how existential wrestling has become, Denis walks over to his opponent and pins him.
Strengths: Denis has a high tolerance for pain (after all. pain is the only thing we can be certain of in this life *sigh*), Denis is always very calm under stress and he rarely gets winded (in large due to his relaxed style of wrestling).
Weaknesses: Denis doesn't like the fans and they don't like him (the masses are all dogs!) Denis will sometimes stop in the middle of a match to reflect on how a move of his is a metaphor for existentialism. Denis sometimes shows up to a match depressed and this might make him slow to start.
Manager/Valet's Name: Gilford Pinchot
Male/Female: Male
Manager/Valet's Appearance: Gilford wears a red lumberjack shirt and wool hat. He wears jeans and big hiking boots. He has long Grizzly Adams hair (with the long beard to boot!)
Manager/Valet's Background & Relationship to Wrestler: Gilford was accused of a murder he didn't commit and decided to hide in the wilderness (LA) instead of facing life in prison. While visiting the LA zoo he rescued a grizzly-bear cub from a pack of rabid tourist. He fled with the bear cub into a nearby coffee house and there met The Existentialist. Denis saw the bear as a target for Gilford's misplaced Oedipus Complex and recited a poem he wrote for Gilford on the spot...
Don't fuck a bear
when a bear is your brother.
Don't fuck a bear
when you really want your mother.
Gilford, stunned by Denis acute perception, offered his services as Denis's Manager. Denis accepted.
