Purpose: To provide Set-up on Luminance NTSC Analog Beta outputs.

Status: Optional. Pal Beta has no Set-up on Lum.

Circuit Card: Optional Card. Output Stage XC 0268 P/N F0-126870-100 or F0-674130-600

Parts: Wire, 1.5K resistor, 2k Pot and .5uf cap

Description:

Connect all three parts in series between J15 pin C and X19

(Add switch in series to change between PAL and NTSC Beta.)

J15 c is a jumper pin near the front of the card.

X19 is a solder Lug near the back of the card

Preset pot to about 740 ohms.
 

With card on extender set pot for 7.5 IRE looking at Y output.

Note: If Chroma level is wrong, it can be changed by soldering in the correct Resistor values. Note> Some say this works, some say it does not, Please send email of your fix.

Series Parallel These Resistors are on solder lug stand-offs.

R92 and R138 sets R-Y Beta Connector DUB/Comp. output

R96 and R140 sets B-Y Beta Connector DUB/Comp. output

100 and 300 ohms for .5V out Set Series Res. & Parallel Res. to this.

75 and open ohms for .7V out Set Series Res. & Parallel Res. to this.
