                        "Print Look Update".

 

Purpose:

 

This update turns the black stretch switch into black compression in

Negative mode.  This improves the signal to noise ratio, giving

Cleaner Negative transfers.  By turning the Print Look on and

decreasing the main gamma control, less white grain is produced with

richer blacks.

 

This update is controlled by the normal black stretch control 1 & 2.

Thus no modification is needed for control by a color corrector.

 

This Sub card is mounted to the FD224 Lum/Chrom Matrix Card.
