This page is dedicated to my ex-Mother-in-law. She has been a part of my life for almost 20 years. I hope the following poems convey the feelings I have for her.
To Mother
You are the mother I received
the day I wed your son.
And I just want to thank you mom
for all the things you've done.
You gave me a gracious man
with whom I used to share my life.
You are his lovely mother
I was his wife.
You used to pat his little head
and I held his hand.
You raised in love a little boy
and gave to me a man.

How blessed I am,
How fortunate I've been.
That you are his Mother,
And also MY friend!
To a Wonderful "Second Mom"
I want you to know
that you've made
such a difference
in my life
with your warmth
and kindness.
You have taken me into your house,
into your arms,
and into your life
with a smile and total acceptance.
Thank you for your friendship
and all the times
when you've listened
and understood.
Thank you for loving me
as if I were your own.
Please know how much I love you
and how much you really
mean to me.
