Story of the Avenue Players Theatre

Avenue Players Theatre is a professional non-equity
troupe of local actors who seek to perform classic
theatre with a contemporary attitude.

We have been bringing Shakespeare, Bernard Shaw, Moliere, Ibsen,
George S. Kaufman and Peter Schaffer to the community
since beginning at the Iron Horse in Tarpon Springs in 1993.

As we continue to grow, we now have brought
Georges Feydeau's THE BOOR HUG, Eugene O'Neill's ANNA CHRISTIE
and Anton Chekov's Farces, THE BEAR & THE PROPOSAL.

In order to grow and
flourish, we need your support. The fellowship and
encouragement of local residents is vital to our

a well written play, good production values and a
great audience!!
