"I can't believe we ran out of food already..." he mumbled to himself.
He pulled into the small store that was only a few miles away and stepped out, leaving the radio on. Walking into the store, he noticed that they rented video games.
"Gotta tell Nick about this one." He thought in his head.
He walked around the place, grabbing what he thought looked good. He dumped everything and when his things had been checked out, he loaded everything into his car and pealed out.
Nick paced the floor. "Food food food food" Was all his mind was thinking.
Hearing the door open, he ran down the long hallway and met Brian at the door and grabbed one of the bags, throwing it to the floor.
"What did ya get?" Nick asked happily.
Nick dug around in the bag he had for a few moments before lifting a bag of Oreos out.
"Yay!"
Brian shook his head and stepped around the overly happy Nick, and into the kitchen where he began to put things away.
Munching on his prize, Nick tramped into the kitchen to find Brian sitting at the counter, staring into space.
Nick stood in front of Brian. "Hey Bri? Bri?"
"Brian?"
"BRIAN!"
Brian jumped into the air. "Jesus Nick! What do you want?"
Nick replied, spraying crumbs, "I want to go swimming now."
"So... you need my permission, or what dude?" Brian asked, wiping the Oreo from his face.
"I dunno..."
Nick grabbed another cookie and started out the screen door in the kitchen. Brian called, "Hey I'll be out in a minute."
Nick nodded and let the door behind him slam shut. He walked down the stone path to the large swimming pool, and unlocked the gate.
He sat down to wait for Brian, and was just falling asleep behind his sunglasses when he felt someone looking at him.
He opened one eye. "Holy shit!" he cried, jumping to his feet and dropping his sunglasses.
A girl stood before him with an amused look on her face. "Geez, I didn't know I was that strange looking..." she said with a small smile.
Nick grinned, and leaned down to grab his sunglasses off the ground. "No, you just scared the hell outta me!"
The girl giggled and held out her hand. "Lorraine."
Nick took her hand a gave it a small sqeeze. "I'm Nick."
Lorraine smiled politely. "It's nice to meet you Nick. I live over there." she said, pointing to the house that was across the street and one house down.
Nick nodded and said absently, "I live there." pointing to his house.
Lorraine laughed out loud and said, "It's a nice house."
Nick smiled, not knowing what she meant by that. He turned as he heard the screen door shut, and saw Brian walking down to the two of them.
Nick turned back to Lorraine and said, "That's Brain."
Brian had reached them by then, and he smirked at Nick. "Funny funny funny." He turned to Lorraine and said, "Brian."
Lorraine giggled and said, "Hi, I'm Lorraine."
All three turned as they heard voices coming from Lorraine's house. Two girls who looked about 16 or 17 were coming through the lawn to where they were standing.
Lorraine smiled again, which made Nick wonder if she ever stopped being so happy.
"These are my friends, Jenna and Manda." She said, putting her arm around Manda's shoulders.
Manda looked about 16, with bleach blonde hair that came to the middle of her back, and was about 5', coming not even to Nick's shoulders.
Jenna looked a bit different, to say the least. She stood 5'6'', looked about 17, and had black hair and bright blue eyes. She had a pierced bellybutton, and nose, and three holes in each ear.
Lorraine had dark blonde hair that came a little shorter than Manda's, and green eyes, and was about 5'5'', looking about 17.
Brian and Nick were surprised that three people could be so different, and be good friends.
Manda smiled her hello, and Jenna purposely looked Nick up and down, letting her eyes rest at his crotch for a second before looking him in the eyes. He shifted unconfortably, and forced a smile.
Lorraine noticed that Nick felt strange, so she spoke up. "Why don't you guys come over for a while?"
Nick and Brian glanced at each other for a moment. Lorraine felt the blood ruch to her face. "I mean... only if you feel like it..."
Brian smiled and said, "Sure, how about we come over in about ten?"
Lorraine smiled back and replied, "Great. We'll see ya!" and walked off toward her house, with Manda following.
Brian ran up the pathway, and went into the house. Nick began to wonder why Jenna hadn't left with her friends, when he felt arms around him.
He jumped at the touch, and felt Jenna's hands wrap around his waist.
Clearing his throat, Nick looked around, nervous at what she was thinking. But Jenna put one hand on his cheek, making him look at her.
"I'll see you later sexy." She whispered into his ear seductively. Letting her free hand float lightly, she traced an imaginary line on his ass. He nodded quickly, and stepped out of her embrace. He turned and walked to his house and opened the door, never looking back.
