As Long As You Love Me
Epilogue-Five years later...
Stephanie and Howie were engaged on the night of Valentine's Day. After the rather unique proposal through conversation hearts, a ring box appeared on the table. She took it and slipped the ring on her finger without much more than a passionate kiss with her new fiance. They remained engaged till the end of the tour, when Stephanie realized that she wasn't quite ready yet to get tied down permanently. They put the engagement on hold for about two years, while Stephanie had the chance to experience life. She flew down to Los Angeles and spent some time down there dancing and taking classes. She visited the Hansons frequently. Her brief almost-romance with Taylor Hanson quickly disappeared and they remained good friends. Stephanie and Howie were eventually married three years after the initial engagement, when she felt she was ready to be tied to someone for life. They successfully managed the married life, living in her home with their dogs.
Amanda and Brian were married in September of that same year. The marriage was huge and made a few magazines and TV shows. Stephanie, Danielle, and Amy were all bridesmaids. The boys were all in attendance at the wedding, though none were groomsment. The couple indeed lived happily ever after, in a small, inconspicous town in Florida. They eventually had a child four years later, a son. He became the attention of all of the band and crew members, the most favored of the family. And the poor kid was raised on basketballs from day one.
Danielle and Kevin broke off their relationship one more time, and stayed off for a year, focusing mainly on the artistic aspect of their lives. They worked together on duets and her solo album during the time they were not dating. Once the album was completed, they became a couple again, and were wed three and a half years later. They moved into Kevin's house and continue to write songs, produce music, and eat peanut butter and jelly ritz crackers on an almost daily basis.
Amy and Nick broke off their relationship and decided to see other people. Nick tried the single life, then dated his basketball buddy, Lisa, for awhile. After Lisa was forced to move to New York, where she attended a college on a basketball scholarship, Nick broke up with her and returned to Amy. They remain good friends.
AJ and Emily never made any solid plans on marriage of any sort, although they seemed like the old married couple to the rest of the group, having dated the longest. They remain together, in a relationship that places them more as best friends than as lovers.
The ten remained close to this very day. They were, are, and will always remain
"The Backstreet Clan."
