CHAPTER 5
Damn Amanda was looking so fine in her suit. I a so glad that she came to visit me at this little stop in New Orleans. I had missed her so much that I was beginning to start forgeting words to song while I was performing. I kind felt bad for her though when we went to eat and the waiter, Gino, didnt remember her name. Man that happens alot. I need to sart bringinng her out more, acknowledging her as my girlfriend, my lover my life..not just a date.
When we got back to the hotel, Im glad we decided to go swimming. Since the oher guys were already swimming to I figured this would give us all a chance to hang out with out working. Let Amanda get to know the other guys more, a chance for her to conversate with them for while.. well and hour and a half at least until D pages me.
"You finally ready ?" i asked her from outside the bathroom door.
"Yeah..hold on, im putting my hair up.."
Knowing that im sure if it wasnt me, then one of the other guys would dunk her, i asked are "Why?" addeding " its just going to get wet anyways."
"Alexander James McLean! If my hair gets wet I will kick your butt!" She yelled flinging the door open." Man she is so hot when she is mad.
"Hey you said ok to swimming..expect there to be water there to ya know.." I said sacastically.
"Yeah well, if we are going out tonight i dont want my hair to get wet." Amanda said wrappinga towel around her waist. "Come on now..hurry."
With my leopard print shorts on already, i WAS set to go.. "Fine" I said as i grabbed my towel..
We headed down to the pool usuing the elevator for the main lobby. The guy behind the counter had guranteed us that there was no one else in the hotel at the time, and that basically with all the dancers staff, crew, and and then us boys, they were booke dsoild.. so the hotel was ours! I could hear as we got closer to the pool that brian, nick, kevin..and from what i could mae out as tommys voice, were havig some sorta fight in the ater. And Immediatly i knew, Amanda wasnt going to be haqppy about all the water flying around.
When turning the corner i was surprised to already see Hoiwe and janine in the pool. having fun with the rest og the guys.. Janine didnt seem to mind her hair getting wet at all. but the look on Mandas face just killed me. Why was she staring at Howie and Janine so hard?
"HEYYYYYY!! Ajjjjjjsss here!" Nickcheered just as Kevin splashed him.
"ACK! Oh yeah, well take this"nick said knocking tommy off kevins shoulders.
"Whoooa dude! man..be nice!!!" Tommy screached when he surfced.
"You started with out me??" I yelled, pretendng to be shocked.
"We didnt think you were coming" brian said from ontop nick. "besides, Howie said you were out having fun with Amanda."
"Yeah we were gonna met up at five..but this is cool.."Howie yelled from the deep end where he and janine we floating ..
"so why arnt you in the pool yet? kevin get then!" brian yelled.
"What ya talking about?" im about to.." She wa saying just as kevin grabbed us botha and threw us in the water.. obviously getting Amandashair wet.
"AHHHHHH! God Damn you!" She yelled when she came up. "How dare you!"
"Now baby calm donw.. he was just having fun..we all are.." i tried telling her.
"No! No! taht is it! ive had it!" amanda yelled "With everything! the band, the tour..the shadowig, everything!"
"What? what are you talking about.." I asked her, but it was to late..she was straight up freaking out..
"Im tired of not having itme with you..alone. I finally figure out away..and it back fires.. i get my hair wet, i get put in a constant shadow as 'aj's girlriend', i quit my singing career for you to go solo..but where is it aj? wheres my fame?" she went on "And you!" she said pointing at Janine "you were suppose to break his heart, make him hate you. I dont even like you, i used you to get howie away from aj.."Amand said..but just then relizeing her mistake. and covering her nouth.
"Excuse me? I said. "You did what? you used howies old friend to distract him to let us be alone? how selfesh can you get!"
"but.." amanda cried.
"But nothing. i never reliazed until now..what and egotisytical, self center spoiled ..spolied.. brat you were." I yelled.
"But Aj i did it cause i loved you." She whipered.
"You dont mess with my friend emotions to show me love. by hurting my family, your hurting me. now go away.." I was pissed then, and i hadnt realized that at that time all the guys were sitting there watching us. and Howie looked so sad. The other guys were pissed but Janine o she was furious.
After me telling her to go, amanda stormed out of the pool house. Where she went was probabl up to the room to change. I couldnt stop apologizing to the guys enough for not only the way she acted, but the way i acted to. This wasnt a part of me that they had seen much of, and i planned they werent going to see it again.
