JUST IN TIME part 8
Today is the day the tour ends..the last show. Raquel and I have been to places like Las Vegas, Lexington, Tacoma, and Others Ive never been to before. And at every show I screamed at the top of my lungs for the guys..and it never got dull. I'll admit that at some concerts I stayed in the back because I recognized a few fans from othe cities. But why would that scare me? Because they threatened me and I figured, the less seen i was, the better. even leighann does that sometimes. After the shows depending on how many days we were going to be there, we'd go and tour or go to the hotel and sleep. We were in Detroit for three days, and an was it fun! But this show is going to be diffrent.
The guys just finished two nights ago the Tampa show, and now are amking up the ft. lauderdale ones. And this beig the last show makes it mean more. Everyone is sad, and some are tense but other than that you feel a feeling of..oh I dont know how to say it. You know that feeling before you graduate and walk across the stage or you get your drivers licence? That feeling. Like your on top of the world, and no one can take you down. Yeah thats the feeling. Tomorrow after the show raquel and I are going to stay in Orlando for good.
Something really exciting has happened!! During the tour in Pheonix Mandy Moore got sick. I know, I know thats not good news..but wait! They needed someone to take her place and Christina Agularra was busy, and noone wanted Britney Spears..so they asked Raquel how good she was. She sang for them and man they were impressed! All Kevin could say was "Thats my girl!" So now, when we stay in orlando she going to cut a cd..and has been opening for them since!
Im still excited that we got to go on tour with the guys, but I'm sad that it has to end. Howie has been a dream. Every morning no matter where we are, he has a rose waiting for me when I wake up. They've changed the concert yet again. Now they hang above the crowd during Quit Playing Games and do flips in the air. Somedays its Brian above me, Sometimes its Nick or Kevin. But on those special days its Howie. And would you believe that the day we were in Lexington kevin had Raquel meet his and Brians parents. I meet Howies sister Polly already and his neice Chelsea in Tacoma. And the rest of his family when we were in Orlando a few days ago. His mom is so sweet! and his father is so tall! What happened to him?
"Whats wrong?" Raquel asked me,coming from the bathroom on the bus.
"Nothing, just thinking about tonight." I told her. Its just te two of us on the bus. They guys went to into the Arena already.
"Well, Its gonna be a good one. They are doing something extra special at the end I hear"
"Really? Like what" I wondered out loud.
"I dont know, they wont say..no body will tell me"
"Man these guys and their surprises."
"No kidding. I wonder what it is, knowing these guys, anything is possible."
"I hope they dont hurt themselves,." Thinking of when kevins pants fell down in N. Carolina, and Howies in Philly. Aj hurt his ar running around the dancers, Nick falls on his face every night, and Brian ..well, he hasnt hurt him self yet.
"I think they'll becareful" She assured me.
"Well i think we should go inside now." I told he seeing people start to line up around the bus.
"yeah lets go."
As we opened the door tothe bus to get off, all these girls started scream like they were nuts. Probably cause they thought we were the Backstreet Boys. A few grls recognized Raquel from her opening the show and asked for autographs and pictures. See now they have a reasn to ask her for these things. back then in the hotels they really didnt.
we got inside and went to were Howie was dacing tohim self to no music. All I could do was stand back and laugh. After about two minutes he noticed me watching him a stopped..his cheeks turning pink.
"Alrighty, how long ya been there?" He asked me, walking over and taking my hand, and giving me a kiss.
"not long. what were ya doing?" I asked
"Just polishing some moves for tonight."
"Oh like you need to practice dancing. Your already great!"
"Naw..cut it out! Everyone need to practice." He said "Let me guess you heard there was a surprise tonight right?"
"Well actually, yeah, but noone will say what."
"Ahh.. cause its a secret. You'll find out soon enough." He told me "Just remember that I love you with all my heart."
"And I love you more." I reasured him kissing him.
"Good, cause I wouldnt have it any other way." He said palcing his hand on my tummy. "He okay in there right?"
"Yeah he doing good." I told him placing my hand over his.
Did i forget to metion that Im expecting a baby. Yep, im due in 8 months.. I just found out a few weeks ago when I couldnt keep nothing down. Howie was so happy! All he could do was call everyone that night, and last night he sang "Tell me that Im dreaming" to him. Its still to early to tell what it is so we just call it a him.
"Well, i better get up front." I said "its almost time for Raquel to come out."
"Yeah, I guess.. Becarful and Ill see you after the show okay."
"Okay. Love you, and good luck!"
"Pray for me alot tonight" he yelled as he ran down the hall to the dressing rooms." love you!"
Raquel was woderful..and Im beginning to think that she has just as many fans as the guys do now,,okay maybe not as many, but she will. When EYC came out she came and sat by me the rest of the show. But I'll never forget ever in my life the end of the show. Bob the security guard came and asked us to follow him. He lead us onto the stage were four chairs were set. Leighann was already in one and Amanda, Aj girlfriend was in another. He told us to take a seat in the other remaiing chairs and we did so. Thats when the lights went totally off.
It was just us girl there on stage. No band, No guards. No one at all. Just 25,000 people all around us screaming BSB! BSB! Thats when nick came over the speakers and aksed everyone to please be seated. Of course they did. what any loyal fan would do. They sat down screaming. When everyone pretty muched calmed down, Howie, Aj, Kevin, and brian came out, ech holding a rose. They each handed us one then lifted mics to their mouths. They then faced the audience.
"We would like to introduce some very special eople to you tonight." Brian said.
"Some very important people in our lives" Aj Added.
"These people are our friends, our family, our partners."Kevin spoke to them.
"These people, are our girlfriends." Howie said, and getting a huge reaction out of the crowd.
"I would all like you to meet Amanda" Aj introduced he, holding her hand and walking her to the front of the stage. She waved and everyone cheered.
"And I would like you to give a round of applause to mine. Her name as you al already know, is leighann" Brian Said doing the same as Aj.
Thats when my stomach started getting icky. I was feeling butterflies, cause i dont really liek being infront of huge craowds like this.
"And, the love of my life is here. Her name is Raquel" Kevin told the audience. And they cheered for her to.
"Now as you all may know, Ima tuff guys to get." Howie started. " But someone managed to catch me. Her name is Jelena. Be nice to her, thats the momma of my baby!" Howie added.
Everyone was cheering! and screaming. They were all so positive! Noone was saying boo, I was amazed at how everyone was taing the news that these guys had girl friends...not what I expected at all.
"Excuse me guys.." You could here nick, but not see him" dont you have something else to say?"
"We were getting to that Nick" Aj said into his mic.
"Well come on then!" Nick replied back with a giggle.
"Okay." They all said at the same time. Then they each got down on one knee infront of us and pulled a little box out of their pockets.
Howie opened his, and took my hand. Kevi, Brian, and Aj all did the same.
"Ladies.." Aj started "We all have a question to ask you."
"Will you marry me?" They all asked at the same time.
I just stood there froze. my mouth was hanging open and I hadnt reliezed that I had let go of Howie hand and was Covering my mouth, Tears started rolling down my cheeks, and I heard mysef say yes. Actually we all said yes. I just stood there crying, while Howie put this beutiful ring on my finger. I then hugged him and I didnt want to let go ..ever. He picked me up and swung me around gentaly, trying not to hurt me or the baby wioth his big strong arms. Then they all got on their mics and screamed to the crowds thta we had said yes..and they cheered. After that the show ended, and I couldnt stop smiling.

The day is now Aug 22, 2000, and Howie Junior is born. I guess you can say this is my brthday present to his father. Hes got so much hair and his eyes are so beutiful. He weighs in at 8lbs 12oz..big boy. And is 22 inchs long. God how he looks just like Howie. All of his family is here at the hospital to see the baby, and because my mom couldnt make it here on time, Howie mom coached me through the labor with him. Raquel made millions of phone calls, along with so did his sister polly. I have never seen him so happy before, then when the baby came out. He had this look like,,heaven. Yes thats iit.He looked Heavenly.
We were married on May 26, 2000..my birthday, and have since bought a house in Kissimmiee by Aj and Amanda's. We are so happy, and with the guys on tour again..its good that he was here for the delivery and all.
Kevin and Raquel are getting married on feb 14, 2001. they also live close to us, but they live more into the southern part of Orlando. They also have a home in Lexington near kevins mom. Raquels album was awarded best new comer, best female solo artist, and best single album or the year at the grammy and american music awards.
Aj and Amanda got Married in June. Their wedding was private and to friends and family only. Why because of the mounds of fans that showed up at our wedding and Brian and Leighanns wedding too. Amanda is expecting some time in March of next year.
Those two..Brian and Leighann got married May 14, 2000. They are so happy together. Tyke is their kid for now. Leighann said she doesnt want an just yet with all the touring and her making movies and all.
As for nick and Mandy. They broke up. From what I know , now hes seeing some girl In texas named Angie...The name rings a bell, but he doesnt bring her around as much. i guess he dont want her getting hurt with Mnay living around here.
