"What are you talking about?" Misty asked me looking at the huge crowd of girls infront of the resturant.
"There's a line to get in! And I so wanted chinese food." I didnt want to really say why.
"We can go somewhere else."
"NO! I mean no, its okay. I think I have an idea as to how to get in. This happened all the time I was meeting Nick places."
"Well, ummm..you sure? Ming Toys is that way" she said pointing in the opposite direction.
"Naw, if it doesnt work, then well go there okay." I told her draggng her to the front of the line.
"Yeah"
Between the "hey!" and "get back in line" and "no fair"'s we got to the door. I opened it to see even a bigger crowd of girls and their moms. The waiters and waitresses were running all over the place trying to clear off tables and seat new comers. There was a humongous crowd gathered in the back by one of the rooms. I knew exactly who was in there. I told Misty to stay put and pushed my way threw the mess of poeple and stopped the host at the front desk. I explained to her that me and Misty were with the guys in the room and that we needed to get there now.
Rolling her eyes "Arent you all." the hostess said sarcastically."Your just going to have to wait."
"No really I am. Go ask them!" I pleaded.
"Honey, aint noone getting back there Its a private room, and we are still trying to get those others girls to get away from them." She said pointing at the room. It had cleared out alot, and now only a few people remained.
"Seriously lady We are with them. If you'll just go back there.."
"Dalrlin' I dont care, just go back.."she rudely started.
"Well, why dont you go take yourself back there, speack to a guy named James. Tell him Christin is here, and then come back and tell me what he says. If he says no, dont know me, ill leave. Other wise, im sure hes getting mad right now back Im here and not there." I said.
"Whatever. Just go back to the end of the line." She replied. "theres other people waiting to get into you know."
Now I was mad. "Ma'am. Im not from around here, but I know what can clear this resturant fast." I said quietly leaning twords her.
"Oh Im so scared. And just where ARE you from?" She asked sarcastically.
"Chicago."
"So, and Im suppose to be impressed?"
"Nope, but I can yell cockroach at the top of my lungs and we'll see how fast I get in, or should I say how fast this place will be shut down. Im pretty sure a resturant like this has a reputation. Which means, if I yell that, the press will hear, and your buisness will either stop, or slow down a lot, causing you to go bankrupt." I hissed into her ear.
Her eyes grew really wide right before she said "Be right back." She disappeared into the room,and was in there a minute. She came back out with the remaining few "uninvited" guest and motioned for me to follow her. I grabbed Mistys hand and dragged her to the doorway. Before going in, I told her to close her eyes and I covered them with one of my hands. I mouthed "Thank you" with a nasty smile at the hostess and lead Misty into the room. I put my free hand to my mouth singling the guys to be very quiet. They noded and I stood her infront of the tabel. By this time the waitresses had closed the glass door behind us and it was very very silent. Taking my hand away from her face I I ran over to Aj and gave him a hug, and sat next to him.
"Okay..open your eyes" I said to Misty noticing I had slightly smudged an eyebrow, but not to bad.
She opened her eyes and just stood there with her mouth hanging open staring at the four boys.
"Hi to you to" Brian said first to her.
"Oh MY GOD! Brian just said hi to me!" She said hitting my arm.
"And? Misty, this is Aj, Brian. kevin, and Howie D." I said introducing her to them "Guys, this is Misty!"
They all waved and said hi to her and Howie got up and pulled out her chair for her. She sat. shaking her head "So, this is why you INSISTED we come here?" she laughed.
"Yup, all for my buddy and best guys." I said putting my arm around her and giving her a squeeze hug.
"Now you understand im gonna have to kill you later" She whispered in my ear.
"Of course. But wait till we finish shopping ok." I whispered back.
"What you to whisperin' bout over there?" Kevin asked.
"Nothing" We both answered at the same time.
"I've seen you some place before.." Howie said. I noticed that he couldnt stop staring at Misty. Panicing about her eyebrow that I just remember I leaned over and told her in her ear.
"Oh my god. Umm.. yeah I am." She said to Howie. "Can you excuse me on minute please?"
"Sure." Howard replied grabbing her chair and pulling it for her again. "thanks" she replied and headed twords the bathroom.
"Hey D, what do you mean you've seen her before?" Aj asked Howie.
"I don't know she looks really familuar." He answered him truing to remember where he saw her. "Maybe on the street I guess."
"Sooo... how'd you get in this time?" Aj asked turning twords me laughing. He had heard what I told her.
"Cockroach." I told him while looking at the menu.
Brian hearing me say that jumed out of his seat "WHERE!?!"
"No Brian, there isnt one. She was telling me how she got in here." Aj said "Now sit down!"
"Oh,,alrighty. Hee hee Sorry." Bri said embaressed.
"Ahh you used the ole' cockroach closer down line huh?" Howie asked.
"Yup, works everytime. Besides she was being a, pardon me for saying this, bitch."
"Well, it worked on Brian" Kevin replied.
"yeah it did" Bri chimmed in.
"You all order yet?" I asked looking at the menu again.
"No, we got here like a minute before you. Did you see how fast the crowd formed?"
"Oh yeah. Misty almost didnt want to come here, but I convinced her" I told Aj and Howie. Brian and Kevin were having their own little convo going.
"Speacking of Misty, is she single?" Howie asked me.
"D! I dont know you ask her!"
"Where'd she go anyways? She didnt take off did she?" Aj wondered looking around.
"Nope shes in the bathroom putting her eye.." I said stopping before I said to much.
"Her eye? Shes putting her eye where?" Aj laughed. he knew what I was saying.
"Her eye contact. yeah, thats it Her Contacts in." I lied. praying she wore them.
"Wow, two things in common.. contacts and chinese food" D mumbled.
"You are so weird D" Aj said giving him a goofy look.
"Shut up "JAMES" like you can talk!" Howie protested back.
"Oh my god! Your THE James?!" Misty asked Aj as she came back to the table with her brows perfect again. I resisted the temptation to mess them up once more.
"In the flesh" Aj chessed as he leaned back in the booth.
"So it was you on the phone this morning!"
"Actully no, that was Howie at first, then it was me yeah."
"Oh lord, this is so cool." Misty said shaking her head and smiling.
"D stop staing!" I whispered.
"Cant help it, shes fine!" He answered
"I just trying to remember where I saw her."
Then I remembered. "Hey Misty don't you work at Wal Mart over there?" Pointing at the building threw the window.
"Yep." She said, not catching on.
"Thats it!!" Howie yelled scaring us all. "You work at Wal Mart!"
"So?..Is that a bad thing?" Misty looked at him oddly.
"No. I was buying two cd's and you were checking me out." He cried. "And you had this weird look on your face too.."
"Oh my god! It was you!" Misty said remembering finally. "And I was NOT checking you out!"
"No, I ment you were the cashier. But why were you looking at my cd's weird?"
"Oh, hee hee sorry. Cause you had Limp Bizkit and Blink 182." she said
"Ahh.. okay." Howie replied as a waiter came up to take our order.
We all ordered diffrent things except Howie and Misty, it was weird, but they both ordered Chicken Almond Ding. "Thats three" D mumbled again.
"Whats three?!" Misty asked before she took another bite of her chicken.
"Nothin', just talking about something from before" I told her.
"OH MY GOD WOMAN! whats in the bag!?" Aj screached as he finally noticed the Wild Stylez bag sitting on the floor. "Let me see!"
"No!" I yelled grabbing the bag from him and shoving it under my chair."Not till later"
"Later?" Misty asked puzzled, I had forgot to tell her that guys were going with us shopping.
"They are coming with us shopping." I replied.
"oh no, we arnt going.." Brian said from across the tabel. "Kev and I are gonna go back to the hotel to go swimmin' its to dagon hot here" With kevin nodding his head in agree ment.
"Word" Aj said.
"To your brother" Both Howie and Misty replied cracking up.
"Oh my god..this is freaking me out." I said to Aj as Misty and Howie did th whole All Access video scene.
"Yes, yes it is."
After we finished lunch, the hostess let us out the back way into the alley to avoid the huge crowd in the front. Remembering the commercial, me and Misty started singing Larger Than Life. They guys, looking at each other, decided to be funny and run down the alley like they were being chased, laughing, obviously catching on to what we were thinking. While they were running I could have sworn I seen Nick running with them at one point and then disappearing. It probably was. They stopped at the end right before they got to the Main street. brian and Kevin said goodbye as Misty and I walked up to them. They told Misty it was nice to meet her and that they will see her later. they headed twords their hotel as Aj, Howie, Misty and I just walked down the street.
