KING OF KINGS,AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:11-16
The Bible states that Adam, the first man, sinned in the beginning of time, and that sin separated us ,mankind, from God (Romans 5:19) Because of this, man condemned himself to judgment. Just as a man would condemn himself to the judgment and punishment of the law if he killed another man...
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.(John 3:18)
We, sinful man, must realize that we are imperfect and full of sin. It is because of that sin we are separated from the presence of God. It is impossible for man to communicate or fellowship with God. You may say, "I am not a bad person. How can God send me to hell?" I tell you my friend- God must punish sin! Many people believe God hears the prayers of anyone regardless of his/her position on Christ. The Bible states:
Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness (1 John 3
One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination (Proverbs 28:9)
Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshipper of God and does His will, He hears him. (John 9:31)
In the Old Testament of the Bible, God instituted a system of sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins and a covenant with people (Exodus 24:6; 27:1-8)… “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” (Leviticus 17:11).
It is impossible for God to hear man’s prayers unless he is covered in the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
We are all condemned to hell because of sin... For the wages-what a person earns- of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6:23)
But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us(Romans 5:8)
Jesus Christ was the perfect sacrifice of God for the new covenant made with mankind.
”For this is the blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (Matthew 26:28)
Just as there had to be a holy tabernacle and altar for the priests to use for the sacrificial system of the Old Testament, there must be one for the new covenant mankind can have with God through Jesus Christ. In Hebrews chapters 9:1 through 10:18 we find a description of the now obsolete “earthly service” and how it has been replaced by the “heavenly service” of Jesus Christ’s ultimate ONE time sacrifice for sins (9:28)
If you have been brought to a place of conviction concerning your sins, and you are now aware of your need for the relationship with Jesus Christ that can cleanse you of your sinful ways then today is the day of your salvation friend.
”For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13)
It is not the prayer that saves a person. It is the free gift of eternal life from God through Jesus Christ that saves a sinner from his/her deserved punishment. If you realize you are a SINNER IN NEED of God’s forgiveness, pray for it. But, do not voice a heartless prayer that will be powerless because it is not sincere. You must BELIEVE and OBEY JESUS CHRIST as SAVIOR and COMPLETE LORD over every aspect of your life. Life with Jesus is not freedom to sin, but freedom from sin and its consequences.
