I guess you could say I really fell in love with the game. It was the beginning of a life long passion
After returning from the USAF at the end of WW11, I began playing again and later, got my teaching credentials.
I later moved to Las vegas, Nevada where I worked nights and had lots of time for golf.
It was here that I started playing with the U.S. Seniors, and played with many celebrities
I entered many tournaments, and and was among the winners several times. My wife threatened me If I brought home any more silver. It needs polishing too often.
This picture is one taken of our winning foursome at one of my favorite courses in Florida.
In 1981 we retired and left Las Vegas for Mountain Home, Arkansas. We didn't like retirement, so we each had a business. I also managed the Twin Lakes Golf Course and pro shop for more than two years. It was during this time we built a large home overlooking the fifth green.
I am at present, retired again, but Teaching Golf and Collecting Golf Memorbilia , and building golf clubs.
