Prophecy: "Spirit Of Infirmity" by Mary Bening

This is the true story of a woman who was never named, but held some importance to Jesus. It's the story of great faith, blind faith. She waited eighteen years for her miracle. How long have you been waiting for your miracle? Don't you dare give up hope because Jesus hasn't.

Luke 13:11 " And, behold there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.' My goodness what a predicament to be in and no family or friends were mentioned as a help to her.

She was helpless and only Jesus could deliver her from her ordeal of suffering. Perhaps you are in a helpless situation. Well look to Jesus and live.

Verse 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to Him, and said unto her, "Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity." Maybe you think you have been forgotten, not a chance. He saw someone in need and He used the opportunity to help her.

Jesus never allowed anything or anyone to hinder Him from His mandate on this earth. And neither should you. Use every opportunity you have to do something for the Lord. Once it's gone it cannot be retrieved. There maybe infirmities in our lives that bind us and imprison us and take us captive; but one call, one word from Jesus is all we need to bring us through.

Jesus showed deep compassion for this woman of no name. How about us do we have deep compassion for others? According to verse 14, there was a negative response to this woman's miracle. Their sabbatical laws seemed to be more important than seeing someone healed, who was sick for eighteen years. Some people have negative responses to a miracle but we have to set them straight as Jesus did in verse 15. He labelled them as hypocrites. Ouch!! that must have hurt. He brought them to shame and it's our job to do the same whenever the enemy tries to discredit a miracle with his sarcastic remarks.

I will leave you with this remark....Faith transcends our limited potential to the unlimited potential of God.
